ACR FLC EXPERIENCES LOSS OF ACFT CTL WHILE LNDG AT ESC. PROP DAMAGE RESULTS DUE TO IMPACT WITH SNOW.
Narrative
WE REACHED DECISION HT OBTAINING ONLY THE APCH LIGHTS; WHICH ALLOWED US TO DSND 100 FT ABOVE TOUCHDOWN ZONE. A FEW FEET BEFORE REACHING THE MARK OF 100 FT ABOVE TOUCHDOWN ZONE WE OBTAINED THE RWY ENVIRONMENT IN SIGHT. AT THAT TIME WE PROCEEDED TO LAND. APPROX 2 SECONDS LATER AFTER TOUCHDOWN; THE NOSE OF THE ACFT STARTED TO PULL TO THE R. APPROPRIATE ATTEMPTS TO CORRECT THE DIRECTION OF THE AIRPLANE WERE IMPLEMENTED. THE ACFT CONTINUED A R TENDENCY TURN COMING TO A STOP ON THE R EDGE OF THE RWY. THE ACFT WAS PROPERLY SECURED AND AN EXPEDITIOUS EVAC WAS PERFORMED. FINAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE WAS A SEVERED BLADE FROM THE R HUB; WHICH IMPACTED THE R SIDE OF THE FUSELAGE. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS INCLUDED THE UNEVEN PLOWING OF THE RWY. AFTER TOUCHDOWN THE R MAIN LNDG GEAR ENCOUNTERED A MUCH HIGHER AMOUNT OF SNOW THAN THE L MAIN; MAKING THE PLANE TURN TO THE R. AREA CLRED ON THE RWY AND WAS ABOUT 3-5 INCHES HIGH. (ONLY FROM THE CTR OF THE RWY TO SOME FT OUT.) AREA OUTSIDE OF THE CTR OF THE RWY WAS 12-15 INCHES HIGH.
