PIREP; OKC-DFW. CAPT FORGOT TO MAKE THE PA ANNOUNCEMENT: PREPARE FOR ARR. CABIN CREW STANDING UP FOR LNDG.
Narrative
I MONITORED THE PA AT THE POINT WHERE I WOULD NORMALLY MAKE THE PREPARE FOR LNDG PA. AT THE TIME; FLT ATTENDANT #1 WAS READING CONNECTING GATES. I CHOSE TO WAIT A SHORT TIME TO MAKE MY PA. DUE TO OTHER DUTIES IN PREPARING FOR THE APCH AND LNDG; I MADE THE PA A LITTLE LATER THAN I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED. AFTER LNDG RWY 18R AND WHILE RECEIVING CLRNC TO CROSS RWY 18L AND TAXI INSTRUCTIONS; FLT ATTENDANT #1 OPENED THE COCKPIT DOOR TO TELL ME WE LANDED WITH THE FLT ATTENDANTS NOT SEATED. I QUICKLY APOLOGIZED AND TOLD HER WE WOULD DISCUSS THE SIT AT THE GATE. AFTER THE PAX HAD ALL DEPLANED I AGAIN APOLOGIZES TO ALL 3 FLT ATTENDANTS FOR THE LATE PA. THEY RESPONDED THAT; BECAUSE I HAD GIVEN THEM PLENTY OF TIME THE ENTIRE TRIP; THEY SAW NO REASON TO RUSH THEIR DUTIES AND BE SEATED. I SUGGESTED TO THEM THAT; WHEN THEY HEAR THE LNDG GEAR EXTEND; THEY NEED TO; EITHER IMMEDIATELY TELL THE CAPT THEY CAN'T MAKE IT; SO THE CAPT CAN EXECUTE A GAR; OR THEY NEED TO BE SEATED DESPITE NOT HAVING COLLECTED ALL SVC ITEMS. I ALSO SUGGESTED TO FLT ATTENDANT #1; THAT; ALTHOUGH LNDG WITH FLT ATTENDANTS STANDING IS CERTAINLY A VERY IMPORTANT SIT; IMMEDIATELY AFTER LNDG; WE ARE VERY BUSY WITH DUTIES THAT HAVE SIGNIFICANT SAFETY IMPLICATIONS FOR THE ENTIRE ACFT; CREW AND PAX. FOR THAT REASON; SHE MIGHT CONSIDER WAITING TO INFORM THE CAPT OF A LIKE SIT AFTER GATE ARR; UNLESS A FLT ATTENDANT IS SERIOUSLY INJURED. FOR MY PART; I WILL MOST CERTAINLY INTERRUPT THE READING OF CONNECTING GATES TO MAKE THE PREPARE FOR LNDG PA.
