A PLT DEPARTING HOU IN A PA34-20 ABORTED TKOF AFTER ROTATION. IT IS UNCLR IF THE ACFT WAS DAMAGED.
Narrative
I DID A PREFLT BRIEFING AND INSPECTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PREFLT CHKLIST. I COMPLETED ALL CHKLISTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH REQUIRED PROCS THROUGH ALL SEGMENTS WITH ACFT OP. I RECEIVED ATIS; DEP INFO AND TAXI CLRNC FOR RWY 17. THE WIND WAS AROUND 190-200 DEGS AT APPROX 10+ KTS AND THE TEMP WAS AROUND 20 DEGS C; WITH GOOD VFR CONDITIONS. ALL INSTS INDICATED NORMAL ENG OPS THROUGH ALL OF THESE SEGMENTS. I CONTACTED THE TWR FOR TKOF CLRNC AND I RECEIVED IT SHORTLY THEREAFTER. I HELD THE ACFT ON THE BRAKES WHILE I INCREASED PWR TO THE ENGS TO TKOF PWR. I STARTED MY ROLL DOWN THE RWY; USING FLT CTLS AS REQUIRED. EVERYTHING INDICATED NORMAL PERFORMANCE. AT ROTATION SPD; I INCREASED BACK PRESSURE ON THE YOKE FOR ROTATION. I FELT UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THE LIFT OFF SIT THAT DEVELOPED; AND I DECIDED TO ABORT TKOF. THROUGH THE ABORTION PHASE; THE ACFT STRUCK THE GND ON THE L AND THE R SIDE. COUNTERING WITH THE APPLICATION OF YOKE CTLS AND ENG PWR MGMNT DID NOT PREVENT THE GND STRIKE; HOWEVER I WAS ABLE TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CTL UNTIL THE ACFT SLOWED DOWN. I ROLLED OUT TOWARDS THE END OF THE RWY AND CONTACTED THE CTLR NOTIFYING HIM THAT I HAD ABORTED TKOF.
