Narrative
PRIOR TO TAXI; CAPT BECAME ANGRY BECAUSE ATC COULD NOT FIND OUR CLRNC. (HE HAD FILED FROM FXE INSTEAD OF FLL; SO HE HAD TO REFILE; WHICH CAUSED US TO DELAY.) HE ADVISED ME TO START AND WE WOULD PICK UP CLRNC ON TAXI. I COULD NOT HEAR ANYTHING IN MY HEADSET AND ADVISED CAPT. HE INSISTED I TAXI AT HIS INSTRUCTION. RELUCTANTLY; I OBEYED. I STOPPED WHEN HE PUT HIS HEAD DOWN DOING CHKLIST BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT TO TAXI; NOT HAVING HEARD ATC INSTRUCTION. WHEN HE LOOKED UP AT MY INSISTENCE; HE INFORMED I NEEDED TO MAKE A TURN I WOULD HAVE MISSED HAD I NOT STOPPED. HE PICKED UP CLRNC ON TAXI; FLL 8; THNDR TRANSITION. (I WAS VERY FAMILIAR WITH IT.) I ASKED HIM TWICE TO INCLUDE THNDR IN FMS SET-UP. FIRST HE IGNORED ME; THEN HE REFUSED; ADVISING ME TO FLY TO DOLPHIN VOR THEN RWS. I WAS WRONG TO LET HIM BULLY ME INTO TAKING OFF. HE CALLED TWR FOR TKOF AND RUSHED US ONTO RWY. AFTER TKOF; ON CLBOUT TO ASSIGNED ALT; I TOLD HIM TO CALL ATC AND QUERY THEM IF WE COULD PROCEED FROM RWY HDG (WHICH WAS ASSIGNED) TO THNDR. THEY CONFIRMED. HE LOOKED AT ME SURPRISED; SAID 'OH; STUDENT IS TEACHING TEACHER;' AND FINALLY PUT THNDR IN FMS FOR ME. ATC NEVER ADVISED THAT WE WERE OFF COURSE OR OF ANY PROB. HOWEVER; I FELT THIS WHOLE EVENT WAS A PROB AS FAR AS LACK OF CREW COORD. I WAS ASTOUNDED THAT A CAPT WITH SEVERAL THOUSAND HRS REFUSED TO SET UP CORRECT SID IN FMS. I ONLY PROCEEDED BECAUSE I KNEW HOW TO FLY THIS SID. I WOULD NEVER ALLOW ANY PLT TO DO THAT TO ME AGAIN. IF SOMEONE UNFAMILIAR HAD BEEN IN MY SEAT; I FEAR THAT RESULTS COULD HAVE BEEN VERY DIFFERENT.
