AN ACR CAPT EXPERIENCED SMOKE ON THE FLT DECK; DECLARED AN EMER AND LANDED AT ACY.

Narrative

30 MINS INTO THE FLT; LEVEL AT FL280; WE NOTICED A FAINT SMELL OF SMOKE; FOLLOWED BY HVY SMOKE ENTERING THE COCKPIT. WE COMPLETED OUR COCKPIT SMOKE PROC AND STARTED AN EMER DSCNT. WE DECLARED AN EMER AND WERE GIVEN 10000 FT FOLLOWED BY FURTHER DSCNT TO 8000 FT AND 6000 FT. AS WE STARTED OUR DSCNT; WE GOT A LAVATORY SMOKE EICAS MESSAGE; FOLLOWED BY A #1 ENG LOW OIL PRESSURE. WE EXECUTED OUR ENG FAILURE PROC. THE FLT ATTENDANT NOTIFIED US OF SMOKE IN THE CABIN AFTER WHICH WE DEPLOYED THE OXYGEN MASKS TO THE PAX. WHILE BEING VECTORED TO THE APCH WE DSNDED TO 6000 FT WHERE THE SMOKE STARTED TO DISSIPATE. WE BRIEFED THE ILS APCH INTO (ILS RWY 13) ATLANTIC CITY INTL. WE COMPLETED A SINGLE ENG ILS INTO RWY 13. WE BRIEFED THE FLT ATTENDANT PRIOR TO OUR APCH ABOUT A POSSIBLE EVAC; AFTER LNDG. WE LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT AND; AFTER CHKING WITH THE FLT ATTENDANT; DETERMINED THAT ALL PAX WERE SAFE. WE TAXIED TO THE RAMP AND COMPLETED OUR SHUTDOWN PROCS. ALL PAX DEPLANED NORMALLY AND NO EXTERNAL DAMAGE WAS NOTED ON THE ACFT.
