B767 CREW HAD RWY INCURSION AT LFMN.
Narrative
ACFT DEPARTING RWY 22L; LNDG RWY 22R. INITIAL CLRNC WAS 'TAXI TO HOLDING POINT G1.' THIS TOOK US VIA TXWY F; TXWY U. JUST PRIOR TO TURNING R ON TXWY G; GND CTL TOLD US TO 'HOLD POS.' THIS LEFT US JUST PRIOR TO TXWY G (EBOUND ON TXWY U). AFTER WAITING APPROX 5 MINS; GND CTL TOLD US TO 'CONTINUE TAXIING TO C1.' THIS ERRONEOUS INSTRUCTION STARTED THE SERIES OF ERRORS. SEEING NO TFC AND RECEIVING A POINT OTHER THAN G1; WE ASSUMED (INCORRECTLY) WE HAD BEEN CLRED TO THE HOLDING POINT FOR RWY 22L. WE TAXIED ACROSS RWY 22R AT G1; JOINED B2; THEN L ON TXWY Y. MIDWAY DOWN TXWY Y GND TOLD US TO 'LINE UP AND WAIT RWY 22L.' AS WE TAXIED ONTO RWY 22L; A DIFFERENT CTLR TOLD US TO HOLD POS. SHE THEN SAID THAT WE HADN'T BEEN CLRED. WE TOLD HER WE RECEIVED CLRNC TO LINE UP AND WAIT RWY 22L. SHE THEN SAID THE CLRNC WAS TO HOLD AT G1. WE TOLD HER WE HAD BEEN CLRED TO C1 (WHICH WE NOW REALIZED WAS AT THE OTHER END OF THE FIELD). SHE SAID THE RWY (22R) XING CREATED A VERY DANGEROUS SIT. AN ACFT WAS ON FINAL WHEN WE CROSSED RWY 22R BUT WASN'T CLOSE ENOUGH TO HAVE CREATED A DANGEROUS SIT. WE WERE THEN CLRED FOR TKOF ON RWY 22L. ERRONEOUS CLRNC; COUPLED WITH INCORRECT ASSUMPTION LED TO THIS INCIDENT. ALSO; BETTER TO TKOF INBOARD AND LAND OUTBOARD. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 474783: I BELIEVE WE WERE INADVERTENTLY TOLD TO TAXI TO G1 (INSTEAD OF C1); WHICH SET US UP TO CONTINUE TAXIING TO THE DEP RWY. OR INADVERTENTLY TOLD TO GO TO C1 -- EITHER THE GND CTLRS WERE NOT TALKING TO EACH OTHER; OR THEY WERE LOOKING AT THE WRONG ACFT.
