Narrative

A PAX SEATED IN XN; WITH 3 FAMILY MEMBERS; PLUS A NANNY X WAS SPOKEN TO BY GND PEOPLE IN CHICAGO ABOUT DIFFERENT QUESTIONS THAT NEEDED TO BE ANSWERED PERTAINING TO INFLT SVCS. AFTER PUSHBACK; THE PAX X STOOD UP AND STARTED COMPLAINING ABOUT HIS PAX SEAT; AND OUR FIRST CLASS ACCOMMODATIONS DID NOT SUIT HIS NEEDS. HIS MANNERISM AND LOUD CONFRONTATIONS WITH ME CONTINUED. I ASKED HIM TO RETURN TO HIS SEAT. APPROX AFTER 7 HRS OF RUDE BEHAVIOR; MRS X (PAX WIFE) WAS CRYING AND WANTED TO BE SEATED WITHOUT HER HUSBAND. THE FLT WAS MET WITH FAA; HNL POLICE; AND OUR GND STAFF. I GAVE OUR GND PEOPLE A STATEMENT. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THAT THE PROB WITH THIS MAN STARTED ON THE LONDON TO CHICAGO FLT WHEN THE HUSBAND AND WIFE WERE IN FIRST CLASS AND THE NANNY AND CHILDREN WERE IN ECONOMY. THE MAN KEPT SNEAKING THE CHILDREN UP TO FIRST CLASS AND WAS FINALLY TOLD BY THE PURSER THAT IF HE WANTED HIS CHILDREN TO SIT IN FIRST CLASS FROM ORD TO HNL; HE'D HAVE TO BUY FIRST CLASS TICKETS FOR THEM. HE TOLD THE RPTR THAT HE PAID $1500 FOR HIS LAP CHILD AND HE EXPECTED BETTER FIRST CLASS SEATS. HE WAS UP AND DOWN; CONSTANTLY WANDERING BACK TO COACH WHEN THE SEATBELT SIGN WAS ON. HE REFUSED TO SIT DOWN; WHEN TOLD TO DO SO BY THE CREW. THE RPTR INFORMED THE CAPT; WHO DEFERRED THE CASE TO THE COPLT; ALSO A CAPT. HE CALLED FOR THE AUTHS TO MEET THE FLT; BUT SOMEHOW IN THE COM WITH THE GND PEOPLE; THEY THOUGHT IT WAS A CASE OF PHYSICAL ABUSE OF THE CABIN CREW. THIS IS WHY BOTH THE FAA AND THE HNL POLICE SHOWED UP. BOTH THE POLICE AND THE FAA INTERVIEWED THE MAN AND FILED RPTS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 481950: PAX INTERFERED WITH ALL PHASES OF OUR DUTIES; ARGUED WITH WIFE; CHANGED SEATS. LAID ON FLOOR AT YR; REFUSED TO GET UP; DID FINALLY. SAT IN CREW REST SEATS. HE CAUSED PROBS FROM LONDON TO ORD.
