BEECH BONANZA PLT COMPLAINED TO THE FLC OF AN ACR BEECH 1900 THAT THEY WERE NOT LOCATED WHERE THEY ANNOUNCED OVER UNICOM DURING TFC PATTERN ENTRANCE AND THAT THEIR AIRSPD WAS TOO HIGH.

Narrative

WITH CVN IN SIGHT; CANNON APCH CLRED US FOR A VISUAL. CURRENTLY 10 MI SE AND MONITORING UNICOM. AT 5 MI E OF CVN; CANNON APCH CLRED US TO SWITCH TO UNICOM. WE RPTED 5 MI E OF CVN AND OUR INTENTIONS FO ENTERING A L DOWNWIND FOR RWY 12. A BONANZA RPTED SAME LOCATION. ACCORDING TO OUR TCASII; HE WAS ACTUALLY 10 MI DOWNWIND FOR RWY 12. THE BONANZA PLT INSISTED WE WERE NOT ON A L DOWNWIND AND WAS GOING TO FAST. WE REPLIED WE WERE ON A L DOWNWIND AND WELL UNDER THE SPD LIMIT FOR THAT AIRSPACE. HE CONTINUED TO ARGUE OVER CTAF THAT WE WERE BREAKING RULES. AT SUCH A CRITICAL PHASE OF FLT WE DID NOT ENGAGE BACK IN THE ARGUMENT. OUR NEXT CALL WAS L BASE FOR RWY 12. THE BONANZA PLT CONTINUED TO ARGUE. OUR NEXT CALL WAS A 1 MI FINAL FOR RWY 12. THE BONANZA PLT THEN CALLED A L BASE FOR RWY 12. WE LANDED; TAXIED; CLR OF ALL RWYS WITH NO INCIDENT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 485634: THE BONANZA PLT WAS STILL BERATING US OVER CTAF. WE LANDED AND TAXIED CLR OF ALL RWYS. WE CANCELED OUR IFR FLT PLAN AND BOARDED PAX WITH NO INCIDENT.
