Narrative

I WAS LNDG AT BNA AT APPROX XA00Z. ALTHOUGH I HAD LANDED AT BNA SEVERAL TIMES; THIS WAS MY FIRST NIGHT LNDG THERE. THE WX WAS MVFR EVEN THOUGH VISUAL APCHS WERE BEING CONDUCTED ON RWY 20L&R. I WAS MONITORING ATIS ABOUT 50 MI OUT. ATIS INFO RPTED CEILINGS AT 3200 FT AND 4 SM VISIBILITY WITH LNDGS AND DEPS ON RWY 20L&R. WHILE WITH BNA APCH; AN ACR PLT COMPLAINED ABOUT TOO TIGHT A TURN FOR THE VISUAL GIVEN THE VISIBILITY. THE CTLR APOLOGIZED AND THEN VECTORED HIM FOR THE ILS STATING THE VISIBILITY MUST BE GOING DOWN. I CONCUR BECAUSE WHILE I WAS BEING VECTORED AT 3000 FT; I NOTICED A THIN SCATTERED LAYER BELOW ME. AS I WAS ABOUT TO MENTION THIS TO THE CTLR; I SPOTTED THE ARPT. THE APCH CTLR HAD ASKED ME EARLIER IF I WAS FAMILIAR WITH THE ARPT AND I RESPONDED 'SOMEWHAT.' AFTER I RPTED THE FIELD IN SIGHT; I WAS CLRED FOR RWY 20C AND ADVISED TO 'GO TO THE TWR.' THE TWR CLRED ME TO LAND ON RWY 20C AND ADVISED ME OF TFC LNDG ON RWY 20L; WHICH I SPOTTED. AS I WAS APCHING THE ARPT; I SAW WHAT I THOUGHT WERE RWY LIGHTS OFF TO MY R AND ANOTHER RWY WITH APCH LIGHTS TO THE L WHICH I MISTOOK FOR RWY 20C. AS I WAS ON FINAL APCH; THE TWR CLRED AN ACR FLT FOR TKOF ON RWY 20R. THE ALERT ACR FO NOTICED I WAS LNDG ON RWY 20R AND ADVISED THE TWR. I WAS JUST OVER THE THRESHOLD WHEN I REALIZED I WAS NOT ON RWY 20C. THIS OCCURRENCE COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF I HAD STUDIED THE ARPT DIAGRAM CAREFULLY TO NOTICE THAT RWY 20C DOES NOT HAVE APCH LIGHTING; BUT REILS. ALSO; I BELIEVE THE TWR SHOULD HAVE BEEN AWARE OF MY POS. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS WERE MY PERSONAL FATIGUE AND SOMEWHAT LIMITED VISIBILITY.
