Narrative
DURING CRUISE FLT WITH THE RELIEF PLTS IN THE BUNKROOM; THE CAPT INVITED A RETIRED ACR CAPT [FROM ANOTHER AIRLINE] INTO THE COCKPIT. THE ACR PLT DID POSSESS AN OBVIOUSLY EXPIRED ACR IDENT CARD AND HAD TALKED TO THE CAPT (AND THE ENTIRE CREW) BEFORE DEP. NOTHING WAS MENTIONED TO THE CREW ABOUT THE ACR PLT ENTERING THE COCKPIT DURING FLT. THE FO (MYSELF) WAS THE PF AT THE TIME. I WAS BRIEFLY ASKED BY THE CAPT IF IT WAS OK IF THE ACR PLT CAME INTO THE COCKPIT. IT REALLY CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD AND I REPLIED WITH LITTLE MORE THAN A SHRUG OF MY SHOULDERS. THERE WAS NO DISCUSSION ABOUT THE APPROPRIATENESS OR LEGALITY. THE ACR PLT SAT IN THE JUMP SEAT FOR APPROX 10 MINS WHEN THE CAPT GOT UP FROM HIS SEAT. I ASSUMED HE WAS GETTING UP FOR PERSONAL REASONS. IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE; THE CAPT ASKED THE ACR PLT TO SIT IN HIS SEAT. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO DISCUSSION ABOUT THIS AND I DID NOT GIVE CONSENT. I WAS TOTALLY UNABLE TO STOP IT. THE CAPT DID NOT DEPART THE COCKPIT; BUT SAT ON THE JUMP SEAT FOR APPROX 5 MINS BEFORE RETURNING TO HIS SEAT AND THE ACR PLT LEFT THE COCKPIT.
