HDG N; APPROX 15-20 NM S OF TITUSVILLE; FL; AND IN CONTACT WITH DAB APCH; I HEARD ANOTHER PLT REQUEST FOR A 'NASA TOUR.' I INQUIRED WITH CTL ABOUT THE 'TOUR' AND HE TOLD ME TO FLY A NW HDG (I BELIEVE 060 DEGS) AND THAT I WOULD BE TURNED OVER TO NASA TWR FOR INSTRUCTIONS FOR A FLY-BY. MOMENTS LATER; AFTER STAYING ON THE ASSIGNED HDG AND KEEPING MY SQUAWK; I WAS TOLD TO CONTACT NASA TWR; WHICH I DID. I WAS ASKED BY NASA TWR MY LOCATION AND WAS TOLD I WAS TOO FAR TO THE E OF X68; WHICH WAS THE ARPT I WAS TO DO A LOW APCH. I BELIEVE I WAS TOLD TO DSND TO NO LOWER THAN 500 FT FOR THE LOW APCH. NOT REALIZING HOW FAR TO THE E I WAS FROM X68 FOR THE LOW APCH; THE ASSIGNED HDG FROM DAB APCH BROUGHT ME INTO THE XMR AIRSPACE AND R2532/2933 AT APPROX 2000 FT. AFTER NASA TWR GAVE ME AN APPROPRIATE HDG. I PROCEEDED ON COURSE FOR THE LOW APCH AT X68 AND AFTER I WAS HANDED BACK TO DAB APCH. IF EVER IN A SIT LIKE THIS AGAIN; I WOULD BE MORE DILIGENT IN KNOWING WHAT MY OBJECTIVE WAS AND EXACTLY WHERE I WILL BE FLYING BY CHKING MY CHARTS.
