A PIPER PA34 ON LNDG WITH 3 GREEN POS INDICATING LIGHTS THE R LNDG GEAR WAS NOT FULLY EXTENDED. ACFT INCURRED DAMAGE.
Narrative
THE ACFT; A SENECA II; UNDERWENT ROUTINE ANNUAL INSPECTION; AND DURING THE INSPECTION A PROB WAS IDENTED WITH THE R MAIN GEAR; AND IT WAS CORRECTED. ON THE INITIAL TEST FLT; THE GEAR UP INDICATOR DID NOT INDICATE THE GEAR GOING UP CORRECTLY. THE R MAIN GEAR WAS ADJUSTED AND THE PROB WAS RESOLVED. A SUBSEQUENT TEST FLT SHOWED THE GEAR TO BE OPERATING PROPERLY ON SEVERAL LNDGS. ON AUG/SAT/01 AT APPROX XA30Z; I DEPARTED ZZZ IN VMC ON AN IFR FLT PLAN. THE FLT WAS UNEVENTFUL; WITH MINIMAL IFR CONDITIONS ENRTE. THE APCH WAS IN VMC; AND THERE WERE NO PROBS WITH THE LNDG PROC. WHEN THE GEAR WERE PUT DOWN; 3 GREEN DOWN INDICATORS WERE SEEN. ON LNDG; A NORMAL TOUCHDOWN WAS NOTED; THEN A PROGRESSIVE SERIES OF BOUNCES OCCURRED AND THE ACFT STARTED TO DEVIATE TO THE R OFF THE RWY. I APPLIED FULL PWR AND EXECUTED A GAR PROC. THE CLB RATE WAS POOR AND THE FRONT GEAR DID NOT GO UP; AS SEEN IN THE MIRROR. THE TWR WAS ABLE TO RPT THAT ALL THE GEAR WERE DOWN; AND I WAS ABLE TO LAND ON THE NEXT ATTEMPT. I WAS ABLE TO TAXI TO THE HANGAR; WHERE ON SHUTDOWN THE R PROP WAS NOTED TO BE BENT; INDICATING A PROP STRIKE HAD OCCURRED. AN ARPT OPEN HOUSE WAS SCHEDULED FOR THAT WKEND; AND MIL WERE ON THE FIELD. ONE OF THEM CAME OVER TO ME AND ADVISED ME HE HAD SEEN THE ENTIRE SEQUENCE. ACCORDING TO HIS DESCRIPTION; THE R MAIN GEAR HAD NOT BEEN EXTENDED ON THE FIRST LNDG ATTEMPT. THE NOSE AND L MAIN LNDG GEAR WERE EXTENDED IN THE DOWN POS.
