Narrative
NOSE GEAR UNSAFE ON FINAL APCH TO RWY AT ZZZ. WENT AROUND AND RECYCLED GEAR PER PROCS TO NO AVAIL. ACCOMPLISHED ALL OTHER PROCS IN ACCORDANCE WITH ABNORMALS AND HAD FLT ATTENDANTS BRIEF FOR GND EVAC. ATC HAD KING AIR APCH FOR VISUAL CHK AND NOSE GEAR APPEARED DOWN. LNDG AND ROLLOUT ON RWY 13R WAS UNEVENTFUL. MAINT RESPONDED QUICKLY; PINNED GEAR; AND PREPARED FOR TOW-IN. I ASKED FOR NUMEROUS CLARIFICATIONS ABOUT STRAPPING THE NOSE GEAR PRIOR TO TOWING. ANSWER OF ALL CONCERNED WAS THAT IT WAS NOT REQUIRED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL MAINT MANUALS AND PROCS. UPON RELEASING THE BRAKES AND BEGINNING TOW; THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED. SHUT DOWN BOTH ENGS; ELECTED TO KEEP PAX ON BOARD. FINALLY DEPLANED THROUGH FORWARD PAX DOOR USING PICKUP TRUCK AS STAIRS. SECURED ACFT. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED HE WOULD NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS RELATING TO THIS INCIDENT. THE RPTR SAID THAT PINNING THE NOSE GEAR ON A FOKKER 100 IS NO GUARANTEE THE GEAR WILL NOT COLLAPSE.
