PA32 PLT WAS INTERCEPTED BY THE MILITARY AFTER BEING GIVEN WRONG NOTAM INFO ABOUT AIRSPACE CLOSURE.

Narrative

APPROX 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEP; I CALLED XXX FLT SERVICE FOR AN UPDATE ON THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF A PROHIBITED AREA; WHICH IN LIGHT OF RECENT WORLD EVENTS; HAD BEEN CHANGING DAILY. THE BRIEFER INFORMED THAT THE CURRENT BOUNDARY LIMITS WERE 14.8 NM ON THE DEGREE RADIAL OF THE ZZZ VOR. PREMISED ON THIS INFO; I DECIDED IT WAS SAFE TO GO. PROCEEDED ON THE MISSION; APPROX 1500 FT DOING SEVERAL 360'S AT 9.5 - 10 NM FROM ZZZ; WHICH WAS BETWEEN 5.3 TO 4.8 NM FROM PROHIBITED AREA. AN F16 APPEARED ON MY STARBOARD WING AND ESCORTED ME BACK TO ZZZ WHERE I WAS TOLD TO WAIT FOR THE SECRET SERVICE AND FBI. AFTER A 15 MIN WAIT; I CALLED MR X AT YYY CENTER ASKING HIM WHAT WAS GOING ON. HE SAID I HAD AN AIRSPACE INCURSION AND TO GO HOME AND THE SECRET SERVICE AND THE FBI WILL CONTACT YOU THERE; WHICH THEY DID. EXPLAINED THE SIT TO THEM AND THEY SEEMED SATISFIED. I KNEW MY EXACT LOCATION AT ALL TIMES; HOWEVER; WITH THE INACCURATE INFO I WAS PROVIDED WITH BY THE BRIEFER; I DID VIOLATE THE AIRSPACE. REQUESTED MR X LISTEN TO THE AUDIO TAPES OF XXX FSS TO VERIFY MY STORY.
