Narrative
LNDG GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND COMPLETELY ON DOWNWIND. LEFT PATTERN TO DEAL WITH PROB. EFFORTS TO RESET CIRCUIT BREAKER WERE UNSUCCESSFUL. ELECTED TO USE EMER EXTENSION PROCS. EMER EXTENSION SUCCESSFUL AND GREEN LIGHT WAS ON. MADE NORMAL APCH AND LNDG. GEAR COLLAPSED (ALL 3) ON ROLLOUT AFTER LNDG. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED ON THE DOWNWIND LEG THE LNDG GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND NORMALLY AND THE CIRCUIT BREAKER WAS FOUND TRIPPED. THE RPTR SAID THE BREAKER WAS RESET AND DID NOT RESTORE THE GEAR TO NORMAL OP. THE RPTR STATED THE GEAR WAS EXTENDED USING THE EMER MANUAL PROCS AND THE GEAR INDICATION WAS GREEN. THE RPTR SAID AFTER TOUCHDOWN AND LNDG ROLLOUT ALL 3 LNDG GEAR COLLAPSED. THE RPTR STATED THE INITIAL CAUSE IS THE ELECTRICAL GEAR ACTUATOR AND CIRCUIT BREAKER AND THE FAILURE IN THE EMER EXTENSION WAS INADEQUATE PRELOAD ON THE EXTENSION CABLES TO EXTEND THE GEAR TO THE DOWN AND LOCKED POS. THE RPTR SAID THE AIRPLANE INCURRED LIGHT LOWER FUSELAGE SKIN DAMAGE; BEAT UP PROP; AND ENG WORK.
