Narrative
PRIOR TO A FLT FROM ZZZ TO ZZZ1. I REQUESTED WX BRIEFING FROM ZZZ2 FSS VIA TELEPHONE. MY RTE WOULD TAKE ME CLOSE TO ZZZ4 PROHIBITED AND ZZZ5 RESTR AIRSPACE. I ASKED THE BRIEFER IF ZZZ4 PROHIBITED AIRSPACE HAD BEEN CHANGED; KNOWING THAT THE LOCAL AREA HAD SOME CHANGES. THE FSS BRIEFER SAID NO IT'S STILL EIGHT MILES. (THE FSS SUPVR HAS BEEN ASKED BY ME TO REVIEW THE BRIEFING TAPES.) THE PROHIBITED AND RESTR AIRSPACE ARE ABOUT EIGHT MILES IN DIAMETER SO I WAS SATISFIED THAT THERE HAD BEEN NO CHANGE TO THE CHARTED SIZE. UPON COMPLETION OF MY FLT TO ZZZ1; TWR ADVISED ME TO CALL ATC WHO IN TURN ADVISED ME TO CALL SECRET SERVICE. THEY SAID I HAD VIOLATED ZZZ4 PROHIBITED AIRSPACE BY NEARLY A MILE. I WAS TOLD WE WOULD NEED A FACE TO FACE MEETING UPON MY RETURN HOME. PRIOR TO A RETURN FLT NEXT DAY I WAS BRIEFED BY ZZZ3 FSS. THE BRIEFER GAVE ME THE CHANGE TO ZZZ4 PROHIBITED AIRSPACE AS 8 NM RADIUS AND 18000 FT. HAD MY REQUEST TO THE ZZZ2 FSS BEEN WORDED DIFFERENTLY AND ASKED IF ZZZ4 PROHIBITED AIRSPACE WAS DIFFERENT FROM THE SECTIONAL DEPICTION I'M SURE THAT A PROPER RESPONSE WOULD CORRECT MY MISINFORMATION ASKED GOOD AND MORE DIRECT QUESTIONS TO THE BRIEFER WOULD GET MUCH BETTER AND MORE ACCURATE ANSWERS AND CORRECT THE MISUNDERSTANDING THAT EXISTED BY ME AND THE BRIEFER.
