ESTABLISHED RADIO CONTACT WITH LUNKEN CTL TWR. TWR CTLR CONFUSED WITH ACFT CALL SIGN; MULTIPLE HELICOPTERS OPERATING AT THE TIME. LUNKEN TWR THEN HAD MADE I. D. OF EACH HELICOPTER CORRECT. 2 ACFT WERE IN FLT; ONE DEPARTING FROM LUNKEN; SECOND; MY ACFT. TOLD LUNKEN TWR MY POS; NW OF FIELD AT 2000 FT MSL; DESTINATION MT. STERLING; KY ON COURSE HDG 135 DEG INITIALLY THEN CHANGE TO 165 DEG USING GPS. AT THIS TIME I WAS 1.0 NM W OF ARPT; WHEN TWR ADVISED ME OF A JET DEPARTING LUNKEN. DID NOT HAVE VISUAL OF JET ACFT BECAUSE OF MY HEADING FROM THE RWY WHICH THE JET WAS CLBING OUT; OFF RWY 25. MY CREW MEMBERS THEN PICKED UP VISUAL OF JET. TWR THEN GAVE ME EVASIVE INSTRUCTIONS TO TURN R IMMEDIATELY. I DID. THE NEW HDG WAS 180 DEG. NO FURTHER INCIDENT OCCURRED. TWR AT LUNKEN THEN GAVE ME FREQ CHANGE TO CINCINNATI APCH CTLR. CONTACTED APP CTLR; SQUAWKED CODE; THEN DEPARTED CLASS B AIRSPACE. 1) TFC AREA WHERE LUNKEN ARPT CLASS D LOCATED IN A DEPRESSION BTWN TWO HILLSIDES; THE CTL TWR IS LOCATED SW OF THE FIELD; WHICH MIGHT MAKE IT DIFFICULT FOR CTLRS TO SEE ACFT COMING FROM THE NW; WHERE THE HELIPORT IS LOCATED. ADDITIONALLY TO THIS FACTOR; THERE ARE MULTIPLE RADIO TWRS IN THE SURROUNDING AREA AS WELL. SO THIS COULD BE A FAIRLY SIGNIFICANT OBSTRUCTION TO LUNKEN'S CTL TWR. 2) LUNKEN ARPT AND CINCINNATI APP CTLR SHOULD ESTABLISH CORRIDOR PROCS FOR HELICOPTERS TO USE IN THE FUTURE. THERE IS A HIGH VOLUME OF HELICOPTERS IN THIS PARTICULAR AREA. 3) THE HELIPORT ROOF AREA IS WITHIN THE CLASS D AIRSPACE OF LUNKEN. CLASS B IN THIS AREA STARTS AT 3000-8000 FT. LUNKEN IS SFC-3000 FT. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATED THAT THE MISS DISTANCE FROM THE JET DEPARTURE WAS 300 FT HORIZONTAL AND 200 FT VERTICAL.
