OUR LEG TO SINGAPORE STARTED AT XA50 AM FROM SUBIE BAY; PI. WE HAD COME FROM HONG KONG AND OUR DUTY FOR THE TRIP WAS 9 HRS 47 MINS (HONG KONG-SBA-WSSS). OUR DAY STARTED AT XE40 PM AND THE FO AND MYSELF COULD NOT SLEEP BEFORE THE TRIP. WE TALKED ABOUT HAVING A 30 HR DAY. HAPPENS MORE THAN WE LIKE IN THE INTL FLYING. WE WERE ON APCH INTO SINGAPORE GIVEN THE HOSBA 4A ARR. THE FMS WAS LOADED AND WE WERE TOLD TO PLAN ON RWY 2L. THERE ARE 3 RESTRS ON AIRSPD INTO THE TMA (UNLESS THE CTLR ADVISED DIFFERENTLY). WE WERE TOLD TO TURN TO 3 DIFFERENT HEADINGS IN ABOUT A 5 MIN TIMEFRAME ALONG WITH DSCNTS. WE WERE ASKED WHAT OUR SPD WAS -- 290 KTS AT THE TIME. WE WERE TOLD TO SLOW TO 250 KTS AND AT THAT TIME WE WERE NOT SURE OF OUR POS FROM SAMKO. WE WERE CONFUSED WITH THE SLAM DUNK INTO THE ARPT WHEN THERE WAS NO TFC AT ALL. WE ARE NOT SURE WE EXCEEDED THE 250 KTS AND 220 KTS RESTRS. WE HOPE NOT. NOTHING WAS SAID BY ANY OF THE CTLRS. INTL FLYING CAN NEVER BE SAFE UNLESS WE GET THE REST WE NEED AND GO TO A SYS THAT IS STANDARD.
