BEECH BONANZA PLT FLEW INTO CLASS B AIRSPACE WHILE WAITING TO PICK UP AN IFR CLRNC.

Narrative

I HAVE FLOWN OUT OF SARASOTA AND MANATEE (48X) FOR 20 YRS WITH NO PROBS. I FILED AN IFR FLT PLAN WITH ST PETERSBURG FSS FOR 48X DIRECT ST PETERSBURG PIE V97 TALLAHASSEE. HAVE FLOWN THIS RTE MANY TIMES. OFF 48X AT XA10 UNDER THE 1200 FT FLOOR OF TPA CLASS B AIRSPACE IN CLR WX AND CALLED APCH ON 119.65; IDENTED MYSELF AS BONANZA IFR TO TLH OFF 48X REQUESTING CLRNC. THE CTLR WAS POLITE AND BUSY AND QUICKLY GAVE ME A SQUAWK CODE OF XXXX. I TURNED ON COURSE TO PIE EXPECTING THE CLRNC MOMENTARILY. CTLR TALKED TO SEVERAL OTHER PLTS AND AGAIN I REQUESTED CLRNC DURING SLOW CLB ENRTE TO PIE. ABOUT X ON THE CHART COPY; THE CTLR HANDED ME TO 125.3. I SWITCHED OVER AND ASKED THIS CTLR FOR MY IFR CLRNC. HE SAID HE DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT MY CLRNCS; THAT I HAD BUSTED CLASS B AIRSPACE WITHOUT BEING CLRED TO ENTER AND I SHOULD KNOW BETTER AND TO HEAD W TO THE SHORE; THEN NBOUND. I WAS POLITE; OBEYED ORDERS; STAYED VFR; WENT W; THEN N AND EVENTUALLY CANCELED IFR AND PROCEEDED TO TLH WITHOUT FURTHER PROB. IN THE FUTURE; I WILL CIRCLE 48X BELOW TCA FLOOR UNTIL I HAVE PROPER CLRNC.
