KORRY 1 FLC UNDERSHOT ALT RESTR.
Narrative
KORRY 1 ARR TO LGA. THIS IS A NEW ARR TO LGA WHICH I HAD NEVER FLOWN. OUR COMMERCIAL CHART PAGE IS A FOLD-OUT; THE R PORTION OF WHICH I HAD FOLDED UNDER SO IT WOULD FIT ON MY MAP CLIP ON THE YOKE. I CHKED THE FMS TO ENSURE I HAD ALL THE ALT RESTRS. I DID NOT SEE THE RESTR AT KORRY OR FOR THAT MATTER; INITIALLY; THE FIX KORRY ITSELF. KORRY IS SHOWN IN AN EXPLODED DIAGRAM ON THE TOP L OF THE PAGE -- THAT DIAGRAM DOES NOT SHOW AN ALT RESTR. THE VERBIAGE ON THE SID AND USED BY ATC IS/WAS 'DSND VIA THE KORRY 1.' ATC DID NOT ISSUE A LIMIT ALT IN THE CLRNC; NOR IS A FINAL ALT STATED IN THE ARR VERBIAGE. I OPENED THE ARR TO CHK FOR ALTS DOWNSTREAM OF BRAND AND HAVING FOUND KORRY IN THE EXPLODED VIEW DID NOT NOTICE THE RESTR AT KORRY. BEFORE INITIATING THE ARR; I AGAIN CHKED TO ENSURE I HAD ALL THE ALT RESTRS. I HAD 5 AND STILL DID NOT NOTICE THE ALT AT KORRY. I QUERIED THE FO 'I THINK I'VE GOT ALL THE ALTS?' (DON'T RECALL RESPONSE.) AS WE WERE DSNDING TOWARD BRAND; ATC ISSUED A SPD RESTR AT KORRY. THEY DID NOT MENTION THE ALT. SHORTLY THEREAFTER; THEY CHANGED LNDG RWYS. THIS DISTR US DURING THE TIME I WOULD HAVE BEN REFOLDING THE ARR TO LOOK AT THE TERMINAL STAGES AND I WAS OCCUPIED ENSURING I WOULD MAKE THE 'ASSIGNED' SPD AT KORRY' WHICH WAS NOT IN THE INITIAL DSCNT PLANNING. WHEN THE FMS REPROGRAMMING WAS DONE AND MY SPD RESTR MADE; I UNFOLDED THE CHART; SAW THE RESTR AND MADE AN IMMEDIATE DSCNT TO 10000 FT. I WAS SEVERAL MI LATE -- NO COMMENT FROM ATC. RECOMMEND: 1) AN ALT CLRNC LIMIT BE ISSUED ALONG WITH THE ARR. 2) THE ALT LIMIT BE INCLUDED IN THE ARR DESCRIPTION. 3) THE XING RESTR BE SHOWN TO THE EXPLODED PORTION OF THE COMMERCIAL CHART ARR.
