DC10 CREW HAD A STICK SHAKER ACTIVATION AS THE CREW WAS RETRACTING THE SLATS.
Narrative
ON DEP OUT OF LAS JUST AFTER SLATS WERE SELECTED; RETRACTION THE STALL WARNING (STICK SHAKER) STARTED ALONG WITH SLAT DISAGREEMENT LIGHT. AUTOTHROTTLES WERE ON WITH CLB SET AND N1 SELECTED. AS SOON AS STICK SHAKER STARTED; I PUSHED THROTTLES FORWARD; PROBABLY NEAR TKOF SETTING. AIRSPD WAS ACCELERATING AND ACFT CLBING GREAT. ACCELERATED TO 260 KTS (CLEAN MANEUVERING FOR OUR WT AND ALSO MAX SPD SLATS EXTEND). STICK SHAKER CONTINUED TO SHAKE AND SLAT DISAGREEMENT LIGHT REMAINED ON. I HANDED ACFT TO FO AND THEN WORKED WITH THE FE ON THE CHKLIST. WE DID THE STALL WARNING ON WHILE NOT STALLED CHKLIST. THE PROC PULLS THE BREAKERS TO STOP THE STICK SHAKER AND STALL SYS. IT THEN HAS YOU RESET THE BREAKERS. THE SYS APPARENTLY WAS THEN RESET AND WE HAD NO STICK SHAKER. WE THEN DID THE PROC TO RESET THE AUTO SLAT SYS AND THE SLAT DISAGREEMENT LIGHT WENT OUT. WE WERE WINGS LEVEL CLBING DURING OCCURRENCE. JUST AS SLAT HANDLE WAS BEING MOVED FROM EXTEND TO RETRACT; THE ACFT ENCOUNTERED VERY LIGHT TURB AND I SUSPECTED THAT TO BE THE CAUSE OF THE WARNING. THE SCHEDULED SLAT RETRACT SPD WAS 226 KTS. I CALLED FOR SLAT RETRACT AROUND 232 KTS. WHEN I FELT THE STICK SHAKER AND THE LIGHT TURB; I FULLY EXPECTED THE WARNING TO STOP AS WE ACCELERATED. IT DID NOT. WE DISCUSSED THE PROB AFTER ALL CHKLISTS WERE COMPLETE AND DECIDED THE TURB HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE ACTIVATION. WHEN THE STICK SHAKER DID NOT RETURN AFTER RESETTING BREAKERS; WE AGREED WE HAD STALL PROTECTION.
