BE350 TAXIING FOR DEP AT RNO CROSSED RWY 16L WITHOUT ATC CLRNC.

Narrative

AT ABOUT XA33 LCL TIME; I WAS ASSIGNED BY CAPT TO ACT AS A FLT CREW MEMBER OF A KING AIR FOR THE RNO TO LAS LEG OF THE FLT. I WOULD BE THE PF AND CAPT WOULD BE THE PNF. AFTER ENG START; CAPT CONTACTED GND CTL AND WAS INSTRUCTED TO TAXI TO RWY 16L. I HEARD CAPT READ BACK THE CLRNC AND HE ADVISED ME TO BEGIN MY TAXI TO RWY 16L. I PROCEEDED TO TAXI THE ACFT TO RWY 16L. UPON REACHING THE HOLD SHORT LINE FOR RWY 16L; THE CTLR ADVISED THAT WE WERE NOT CLRED TO CROSS RWY 16R. CAPT POLITELY RESPONDED AS TO WHAT HE HEARD THE INITIAL GND CTLR SAY REGARDING THE TAXI CLRNC. NOTHING FURTHER. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: I HAD NOT FLOWN THIS ACFT WITHIN 3 WKS TIME AND POSSIBLY DISTRACTED THE CAPT WITH SOME QUESTIONS REGARDING THE FMS AND AVIONICS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 585772: AS WE APCHED RWY 16R I INSTRUCTED THE PF TO CROSS AND HOLD SHORT RWY 16L. HE DID SO. I SWITCHED TO TWR AND ADVISED WE WERE READY AT RWY 16L. THE TWR CTLR ASKED ME WHICH RWY WE WERE CLRED TO TAXI TO. I INFORMED HIM RWY 16L. AFTER STANDING BY FOR A FEW MINS; HE INFORMED ME THE GND CTLR HAD CLRED ME TO RWY 16R. I WAS CONFUSED AT THAT POINT AND ASKED THE PF WHAT HE HAD HEARD. HE CONFIRMED RWY 16L. I TOLD GND I WAS CERTAIN IT WAS RWY 16L; AS RWY 16R WAS STILL UNAVAILABLE. THEY CLRED ME FOR TKOF; AND ISSUED ME THE PHONE NUMBER.
