EVEN THOUGH THE SMA PLT FOLLOWED PROPER PROCS DURING LNDG AT ZZZ; HE LANDED GEAR UP.
Narrative
THE SIT OCCURRED AT ZZZ. I WAS FLYING LOCALLY FROM OCEAN CITY; NJ; TO CAPE MAY; NJ; FROM CAPE MAY; NJ TO ZZZ. THE AIRPLANE WAS SLOWED DOWN PRIOR TO ENTERING THE TFC PATTERN. I ENTERED THE TFC PATTERN AT PATTERN ALT. I RPTED DOWNWIND; I ADJUSTED THE MANIFOLD; DROPPED MY GEAR AT THE NUMBERS; APPLIED 15 DEGS OF FLAPS; TRIMMED THE AIRPLANE; RPTED BASE; TURNED BASE; ADDED MORE FLAPS; RPTED A FINAL; TURNED FINAL AT 500 FT. I DID MY FINAL CHK OF GUMP. IT WAS; WHAT I CONSIDERED A NORMAL APCH. I KNEW AS SOON AS I TOUCHED DOWN THAT I HAD A PROB; THAT IS ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT I REMEMBER. AFTER WE WERE ABLE TO CHK THE AIRPLANE WE FOUND THAT THE FLAPS WERE FULLY EXTENDED; THE LNDG GEAR SWITCH WAS IN FULL DOWN POS; THE LNDG GEAR DOORS WERE PARTIALLY OPEN; EXPOSING THE WHEELS. WHILE IN THE PROCESS OF LIFTING THE AIRPLANE HIGH ENOUGH TO PUT THE WHEELS DOWN; IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE LNDG GEAR CIRCUIT BREAKER HAD POPPED. IT TOOK 2 OR 3 TIMES TO GET THE GEAR FULLY EXTENDED AND EACH TIME WE HAD TO RESET THE CIRCUIT BREAKER. PART OF THE PROB THAT I COULD SEE WAS THAT IT WAS A BRIGHT AND SUNNY DAY. I HAD MY STROBE AND NAV LIGHTS ON; OUT OF HABIT. I WAS TOLD THAT THIS TAKES AWAY THE BRIGHTNESS OF THE 3 RED LIGHTS. AT FIRST GLANCE I THOUGHT THEY WERE ON AND THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT THEY WERE NOT.
