A B737-300 FLT CREW IS DEBRIEFED BY 2 ACI'S ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR FLT ATTENDANTS AS RELATED TO PAX ACTIONS DURING A FLT TO MCI; MO.

Narrative

2 FAA ASI'S SHOW UP FOR OUR FLT TO MCI. PRIOR TO BOARDING; THE CREW WAS FULLY BRIEFED; INCLUDING THE 2 ASI'S. THEY WERE RIDING IN BACK TO OBSERVE THE FLT ATTENDANTS DURING OUR FLT. THE FLT WAS UNEVENTFUL. UPON LNDG IN MCI; THE ASI INFORMED ME HE HAD CONCERNS ABOUT OUR FLT ATTENDANTS: 1) HE COUNTED OVER 30 PEOPLE UP OUT OF THEIR SEATS WITH THE SEATBELT SIGN ON DURING THE COURSE OF OUR 3 HR FLT. 2) HE NOTICED THE OVERHEAD BINS OPEN AND NOT CLOSED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS DURING THE FLT. 3) SEVERAL TIMES HE NOTICED THE FLT ATTENDANTS AND PAX UP OUT OF THEIR SEATS TALKING WITH THE SEATBELT SIGN ON. THE ASI WANTED ME TO BRIEF THE FLT ATTENDANTS ON THESE ISSUES AND WRITE A RPT. I HAVE DONE BOTH. I PERSONALLY DID NOT WITNESS ANY OF HIS ISSUES AS I WAS ON THE FLT DECK. I THOUGHT OUR FLT ATTENDANTS WERE DOING A GOOD JOB AND WERE PROFESSIONAL. I ADDRESSED THESE ISSUES WITH OUR FLT ATTENDANTS AND INFORMED THEM OF THIS RPT. I DO NOT FEEL THAT THIS WILL BE A PROB AGAIN FOR THIS CREW; AS WE DISCUSSED IMPROVING BETTER COM WITH THE COCKPIT IF THE PAX ARE NOT COMPLYING WITH THE SEATBELT SIGN.
