Narrative
OBTAINED WX AT SGF FOR IFR FLT TO ADS. AS I GOT CLOSER TO PALLAS ON THE FINGR 3 ARR; WX WORSENED; AND DUE TO WORSE THAN EXPECTED HEADWINDS; ARRIVED OVER DALLAS ABOUT 1 HR LATER THAN EXPECTED. STARTED APCH; SOME TURB PULLED ME OFF COURSE 2-3 TIMES; BUT REASONABLY STABLE APCH. AT 1000-1100 FT (DECISION HT = 800 FT); SOME KIND OF SHEAR SEEMED TO HIT; SINCE THE PLANE VEERED TO THE R OF COURSE. THEN WITH CORRECTION; VEERED SHARPLY TO THE L AND ABOVE US. AS I WAS BEGINNING TO RECOVER FROM THE L OF COURSE; NOW AT 900 FT; WE SPOTTED THE RWY TO OUR R. I PONDERED A MISSED APCH; BUT DECIDED I HAD TO GET BACK OVER THE RWY TO EXECUTE A MISSED APCH. CONSEQUENTLY; I MOVED PLANE SHARPLY TO THE R; GOT THE RWY IN FULL VIEW; PROBABLY 150-200 FT BELOW ME. I DECIDED TO LAND; DESPITE THE ALT AND WELL OVER THE THRESHOLD. I MAY HAVE BEEN BELOW DECISION HT WHEN I DECIDED TO GO BACK TO RWY AND EXECUTE MISSED APCH OR LAND. ATIS WAS NOT VERY ACCURATE AND A WINDSHEAR SEEMED TO BE PRESENT; CLOSE TO THE RWY THRESHOLD. MISSED APCH MAY HAVE BEEN EXECUTED EARLIER. HOWEVER; ON REINTERCEPTING COURSE LINE; RWY WAS SEEN AND I LANDED SAFELY.
