ON AN ADIZ FLT PLAN FROM HGR TO 2W6 THROUGH WASHINGTON ADIZ; I WAS CLRED INTO THE ADIZ AND CLASS B AIRSPACE BY THE FIRST CTLR AT 3500 FT. CHANGING FREQS THE NEXT CTLR TOLD ME TO REMAIN CLR OF CLASS B. I MADE AN IMMEDIATE DSCNT TO 2000 FT AND FOUND VERY ROUGH AIR OVER A SCATTERED CLOUD CONDITION. CLBED BACK TO 2400 FT WHERE IT APPEARED TO BE SMOOTHER. I WAS NAVING TO STAY UNDER CLASS B AIRSPACE; TRYING TO STAY JUST SW OF W18 THROUGH THE CORRIDOR BTWN BALTIMORE AND WASHINGTON; WHICH ALLOWED ME TO STAY AT 2400 FT. POTOMAC APCH CALLED ME TO MAKE AN IMMEDIATE L TURN; THAT I WAS 1 MI IN WASHINGTON AIRSPACE. I DID SO IMMEDIATELY AND THEN DSNDED TO 1400 FT AND PROCEEDED TO 2W6 UNDER CLASS B. 1) I SHOULD HAVE GONE TO 1400 FT AND SOLVED THE NAV OF THE CLASS B PROB AND DEALT WITH THE TURB. 2) COULD HAVE GOTTEN MORE HELP FROM POTOMAC APCH. 3) A NEED FOR EASIER NAV THROUGH THAT CORRIDOR WITH SOME SPECIFIC NAVAID OR LANDMARK OR ELIMINATE THE CORRIDOR ALL TOGETHER. 4) POSSIBLY EASE UP ON THE ADIZ SIT IN THE WASHINGTON AREA.
