A319 CREW FLEW THE AACES 2 SID DEPARTING LAS. THE DEP CTLR EXPECTED THE CREW TO FLY THE TRALR SID.

Narrative

WE WERE OPERATING AS ACR X ON THE RETURN LEG FROM LAS TO DEN. IT WAS NOV/WED/03; AND OUR SCHEDULED DEP TIME OF XA30 LCL BECAME XA05 LCL BECAUSE OF A LUGGAGE PROB. I RECEIVED THE ATIS AND PDC VIA THE ACARS. WE DEPARTED AROUND XA30 LCL AFTER SOME TFC DELAYS ON RWY 19L. WE RECEIVED; BELIEVED AND READ ON OUR CLRNC STRIP THE AACES 2 DEP. AFTER DEPARTING BEHIND A CITATION II WE WERE CLBING THROUGH 7000 FT MSL CLRED TO 18000 FT MSL WHEN DEP CTL ASKED IF WE WERE EXECUTING THE TRALR 1 DEP. WE CONFIRMED WE WERE ISSUED AND ON THE AACES 2 DEP. DEP CTL THEN SAID TO TURN L DIRECT TO TRALR AND CONTACT ZLA 124.2. WE WERE NEVER; NEVER GIVEN A PHONE NUMBER TO CALL. I EVEN ASKED IF THERE WAS A PROB AND DEP CTL (SAME VOICE ENTIRE DEP PROC) STATED NO. WE NEVER RECEIVED A TA NOR AN RA! WE CONTINUED ON OUR MISSION THINKING EVERYTHING WAS NORMAL. THE NEXT DAY WE WERE BACK IN DENVER AROUND XA00 LCL WHEN WE WERE INFORMED BY ACR X OF A POSSIBLE SIT THE NIGHT BEFORE IN LAS. LAS TRACON CLAIMS WE WERE IN A NEAR MISS AND ANOTHER CTLR HAD TO STEP IN TO DIVERT OUR ACFT. WE BELIEVE LAS HAS MADE A MISTAKE AND CONFUSED OUR FLT WITH ANOTHER. EVEN THOUGH WE WERE ON THE AACES 2 DEP AND NOT THE TRALR 1 DEP; AT THE TIME WE WERE STILL ON THE SAME RADIALS AND IN THE SAME AIRSPACE. WE STAND BEHIND THE FACT OUR PDC READ AACES 2 DEP AND NOT THE TRALR 1 DEP.
