Narrative
INITIAL CLRNC RECEIVED FROM BOG CLRNC DELIVERY WAS TO FLY THE 'GUAYMARAL 4' DEP; ZIP TRANSITION CLB 17000 FT. RWY FOR TKOF RWY 31L. DURING PUSH OUT; WE WERE ADVISED RWY 13L FOR DEP. RECEIVING TAXI CLRNC; WE WERE TOLD TO TAXI TO RWY 13R FOR TKOF. THIS ALSO INVOLVED TAXI ROUTING CHANGES DUE TO PUSHOUT FOR RWY 13L. THE TAXI CLRNC ADVISED THAT RWY 13R WAS 'DUE WX.' BOTH COPLT AND I REVIEWED GUAYMARAL 4 DEP OFF RWY 13R. THERE WERE RAIN SHOWERS IN ALL QUADRANTS; BUT MOSTLY TO THE SE. THE 'DUE WX' STATEMENT DID NOT REGISTER WITH US; AS WE LOOKED AT THE SKY. WE TOOK OFF ON RWY 13R. AT 600 FT AGL; PER 'GUAYMARAL 4' THE COPLT STARTED A L TURN. TWR IMMEDIATELY ADVISED THAT WE TURN R AND FLY THE 'GUAYMARAL 3.' WE TURNED 180 DEGS R CLBING; I COULD NOT LOCATE THE ''GUAYMARAL 3' DEP IN MY PART 2 NOR IN THE FMS DATABASE. I DID FIND THE 'BASO 3' DEP; AND IT MADE SENSE THAT WAS WHAT TWR WANTED. WE WERE SWITCHED TO DEP CTL. AS WE CLBED THROUGH 1200 FT; I REQUESTED DIRECT TO ZIP AND RECEIVED THAT CLRNC CLBING TO 14000 FT. IN RETROSPECT; THE 'BASO 3' DEP WOULD HAVE KEPT US CLR OF MOST WX. WE THINK THAT THIS IS WHAT TWR WAS ALLUDING TO WITH THE 'DUE WX' STATEMENT. THIS WAS ONLY CLR IN HINDSIGHT. QUESTIONING THAT STATEMENT; MAY HAVE MADE IT CLR THAT TWR EXPECTED AND WANTED A R HAND TURN AFTER TKOF. THE WX DID NOT APPEAR THREATENING ENOUGH TO WARRANT ANY PARTICULAR ACTION ON OUR PART. I COULD NOT FIND ANY EVIDENCE OF A 'GUAYMARAL 3' DEP THAT TWR INSISTED THAT WE HAD BEEN CLRED TO FLY. I THINK TWR INTENDED US TO FLY THE 'BASO 3.' WE WERE VERY OCCUPIED WITH RWY AND TXWY CHANGES THAT WE MISSED ANY REF TO A '3' IN THE CLRNCS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 601844: I STILL DO NOT KNOW WHETHER THIS WAS A MISTAKE BY THE CTLR SAYING 'GUAYMARAL 3 INSTEAD OF BASO 3' OR IF HE SAID IT EXACTLY CORRECT AND WE JUST HEARD WHAT WE EXPECTED TO HEAR.
