B777 CAPT SUSPECTS ACFT LOADING ERROR AT EGLL.
Narrative
PRIOR TO DEPARTING JFK; THERE WAS A LOAD PROB REGARDING THE CTR OF GRAVITY. NUMEROUS PODS WERE MOVED AROUND NUMEROUS TIMES AND WE RECEIVED AN ACARS MESSAGE THAT WE WERE OK TO GO. ENRTE; ACFT APPEARED NORMAL BUT ACFT SEEMED TO HAVE A HIGHER PITCH ATTITUDE THAN NORMAL. ON DSCNT TO LHR; I WAS HAND FLYING THE ACFT AND NOTICED IT WAS NOT AS STABLE AS USUAL. PITCH WAS OVERLY SENSITIVE. LEVELING OFF FOR THE HOLD; NOTED PITCH WAS AGAIN QUITE HIGH AND EXCESSIVE PWR WAS REQUIRED TO HOLD 220 KIAS (1.15 PLUS EPR). ON FINAL; NOTED MORE PWR AGAIN WAS NEEDED TO HOLD CONSTANT AIRSPD IN DSCNT. ON GEAR EXTENSION AND FLAPS TO 30 DEGS; REQUIRED EPR IN EXCESS OF 1.17 TO MAINTAIN GS. REF WAS 129 KTS AND NOSE WAS QUITE HIGH. AT 1.17; INDICATED AIRSPD WAS BOUNCING FROM 129 KTS TO 133 KTS. ADDED MORE PWR AND INCREASED INDICATED AIRSPD TO 140 KIAS. EPR WAS ABOUT 1.18 AND AIRSPD STABILIZED AS DID GS. AS SOON AS PWR WAS BROUGHT BACK TO IDLE; ACFT SETTLED SMOOTHLY ON THE RWY WITH NO FLOAT AS WOULD BE EXPECTED AT THIS AIRSPD VERSUS WT (APPROX 295 KTS). SUSPECT A MISLOADED ACFT AND REQUESTED AN AUDIT OF OFFLOADED CARGO.
