Narrative
APPROX 8 MINS FROM TOUCHDOWN; PURSER FLT ATTENDANT ADVISED STRONG ODOR IN PAX CABIN LIKE SOMETHING BURNING. NO SMOKE WAS VISIBLE. SIMULTANEOUSLY; THE AUTOPLT TRIPPED OFF AND GPS PRIMARY WAS LOST. THIS WAS AT XA37Z. WE STARTED SMELLING ODOR IN COCKPIT AROUND 7000 FT IN THE APCH DSCNT. AGAIN; NO SMOKE WAS VISIBLE. WE DONNED OUR OXYGEN MASKS; DECLARED AN EMER; ASKED FOR VECTOR DIRECT TO ARPT; AND REQUESTED EMER EQUIP STANDING BY. ADVISED FLT ATTENDANTS TIME REMAINING; THAT WE ANTICIPATED NORMAL LNDG WITH SHORT TAXI TO GATE; BUT TO BE PREPARED TO EVAC ACFT IF CONDITIONS UPON LNDG DICTATED. MADE ANNOUNCEMENT TO PAX THAT WE WERE AWARE OF THE ODOR AND WOULD BE LNDG IN APPROX 1 MIN AND WOULD TAXI TO THE GATE. TOUCHDOWN WAS AT XA45Z AND ODOR DISSIPATED AFTER LNDG. AFTER GATE ARR; STATUS PAGE OF ECAM SHOWED IR INDICATION FOR MAINT. POSTFLT RPT SHOWED ADIRU 1 AND ADIRU 3 FAULT MESSAGES OCCURRING AT XA36Z; AUTOPLT DISCONNECT AT XA37Z; AND ADIRU 2 MESSAGE AT XA39Z. EMER EQUIP FOLLOWED US TO THE GATE WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. FLT ATTENDANTS RPTED HAVING EXPERIENCED HEADACHES AND SORE THROATS AS A RESULT OF STRONG ODOR.
