Narrative
ON DOWNWIND TO RWY 35 AT ZZZ1; THE R MAIN LNDG GEAR INDICATED UNSAFE (2 GREEN GEAR DOWN LIGHTS ONLY). WE PROCEEDED TO LANTANA ARPT; FL; WHERE THERE IS A BEECHCRAFT MAINT FACILITY. ENRTE; WE REMOVED THE COPLT'S SEAT AND FOUND A BENT ACTUATOR ROD. I CONTACTED THE FBO MGR WHO CALLED THE CFR DEPT AND THE LCL BEECH EXPERTS. I DID A FLY-BY ALONG RWY 9 WHERE THE BEECHCRAFT EXPERTS COULD SEE THAT THE 3 LNDG GEAR WERE DOWN. AFTER TALKING THE SIT OVER WITH MY COPLT (ALSO A BEECH EXPERT) AND THE GND MAINT PEOPLE; WE BRIEFED AN EMER LNDG ON RWY 9. ON FINAL; MY COPLT CRACKED OPEN HIS PAX DOOR AND; OVER THE THRESHOLD; I CLOSED THE MIXTURES AND FEATHERED BOTH PROPS. ACFT TOUCHED DOWN SMOOTHLY AND TRACKED STRAIGHT UNTIL; AT A SLOW SPD; THE R MAIN LNDG GEAR RETRACTED INWARDS. EVEN WITH FULL L RUDDER; AILERON; AND HVY L BRAKING; WE STOPPED A FEW FT OFF THE R SIDE OF RWY 9. I SHUT OFF ALL SWITCHES AND FUEL SELECTORS AND WE EXITED THE R SIDE. THE FIRE TRUCKS WERE IMMEDIATELY THERE AND THE BARON HAD ONLY MINOR DAMAGE. AN FAA INSPECTOR ARRIVED ABOUT 1 HR LATER AND CLASSIFIED THE GEAR COLLAPSE AS AN INCIDENT. ACFT WAS LIFTED; R MAIN LNDG GEAR PUSHED AND CLAMPED IN POS; AND TOWED TO A MAINT HANGAR. THE R MAIN LNDG GEAR ACTUATOR ROD WAS FOUND BENT UNDER THE COPLT'S SEAT.
