Narrative
ON A FLT TO OSU: STRONG HEADWIND WAS EXPECTED; SO I TOPPED OFF FUEL TANKS. DURING THE FLT; I NOTED THE FUEL GAUGES GOING DOWN FASTER THAN EXPECTED. AS THE PLANE; APPROX 10 YRS AGO; HAD A LEAK IN THE INSIDE CTL VALVE; I NOTED TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT. I ALSO THOUGHT I SMELLED FUEL WHEN CHANGING TANKS. AS I ARRIVED IN COLUMBUS CTL AREA; APCH CLRED ME DOWN TO 3000 FT. I WENT TO SWITCH TANK ONE LAST TIME BEFORE LNDG AND SAW THE FUEL GAUGE GO TO EMPTY. I SEARCHED FOR SOME PLACE TO LAND IMMEDIATELY AND TO NOTIFY APCH OF MY EMER. AS I WENT TO XMIT TO APCH; MY RADIOS WENT OFF LINE. I IMMEDIATELY SET THE XPONDER TO 7600 FOR LOST COM. I PROCEEDED INTO OSU ARPT. I WAS GIVEN A GREEN LIGHT SIGNAL FROM THE TWR TO LAND. I CROSSED THE MIDPOINT OF THE ARPT; TURNED DOWNWIND; MADE A STEEP TURN AND LANDED ON RWY 27R. COLUMBUS APCH HAD ADVISED ME BEFORE THE LOSS OF RADIOS THAT OSU WAS LNDG RWYS 27L/27R. UPON LNDG; I TRIED TO CLR THE ACTIVE RWY IMMEDIATELY BY TURNING ONTO RWY 14; TAXIED TO TXWY C AND PROCEEDED TOWARD THE FBO BLDG. I SAW A BLINKING RED LIGHT; WHICH I UNDERSTOOD TO MEAN CLR THE ACTIVE AREA. AS I APCHED RWY 27L; I CONTINUED TO SEE THE RED BLINKING LIGHT FROM THE TWR. I CHKED RWY 27L FOR ACTIVITY; SAW A PLANE HOLDING FOR TKOF; AND PROCEEDED TO CROSS THE RWY AND PARK AT THE W RAMP FBO. AS REQUESTED; I CALLED THE TWR AND TOLD I WAS BEING WRITTEN FOR ENTERING CTLED AIRSPACE WITHOUT PERMISSION AND VARIOUS TAXI VIOLATIONS.
