A COMMUTER FLT IS TOLD TO GO AROUND WHEN A TAXIING B767 ETOPS FLT HAD CLRED RWY 24R AND CROSSES THE HOLD SHORT LINE FOR RWY 24L AT PGUM.

Narrative

DURING LNDG ROLLOUT; WE WERE CLRED TO EXIT RWY AT EXIT OF OUR CHOICE. OVERHEAD SPEAKERS WERE ON WITH BOTH JUMP SEATS OCCUPIED. NO ONE IN COCKPIT HEARD ANY INSTRUCTIONS TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 24L. JUST AS WE CAME UP ON RWY 24L TWR TOLD US TO HOLD SHORT. WE STOPPED WITH NOSE OF ACFT VERY NEAR TO RWY EDGE LINE BUT I DON'T BELIEVE WE 'BROKE THE PLANE' OF THE RWY BUT WERE DEFINITELY BEYOND THE HOLD SHORT LINE. HOLD SHORT LINE IS VERY SIMILAR TO CLE WHERE; TO GET TAIL OFF LNDG RWY; YOU HAVE TO GO BEYOND HOLD SHORT LINE FOR NEXT RWY. A COMMUTER AIRPLANE WAS ON APCH TO RWY 24L AND WAS TOLD TO GO AROUND AT ABOUT 500 FT. THEY DID A 360 DEGS AND LANDED ON RWY 24R. TWR DID NOT MENTION THE INCIDENT ON SUBSEQUENT TAXI-IN. FATIGUE WAS A DEFINITE ISSUE FOR ME. WE HAD BEEN WORKING A FUEL GAUGE PROB FOR THE LAST 5 HRS OF THE FLT. INITIALLY I WAS CONCERNED WE MIGHT HAVE HAD A FUEL LEAK BUT WAS ABLE TO DETERMINE WE HAD A FUEL GAUGE PROB. THIS WAS AN ETOPS FLT FROM HNL TO GUM WHICH I FLY VERY RARELY (3 TIMES IN 18 MONTHS). DURING THE APCH BRIEFING; WE DISCUSSED THE TAXI RTE AFTER LNDG AS I HAD NEVER LANDED ON RWY 24R. WE DISCUSSED THE FACT THAT WE ALWAYS USE RWY 24L FOR TAXI WHEN TAKING OFF ON RWY 8L AND WOULD HAVE TO USE IT TO TAXI TO THE GATE. I DO NOT RECALL THE TWR EVER GIVING US 'HOLD SHORT' INSTRUCTIONS UNTIL THE NEAR INCURSION. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 622341: TWR THEN TOLD A COMMUTER PLANE TO GO AROUND DUE TO AN ACFT CONFLICT ON THE RWY. HE ACKNOWLEDGED AND WENT AROUND. WE WERE THEN INSTRUCTED TO CONTINUE ONTO RWY 24L AND BACK TAXI TO TXWY G AND CROSS RWY 24R AT TXWY G THEN CONTACT RAMP ON 121.6 FOR TAXI TO GATE. THE EVENT ENDED WITH THAT.
