A PA32 PLT LANDS AND IS APCHED BY 2 FAA INSPECTORS THAT TELL HIM THAT HE HAD AN NMAC WITHIN 300 FT WITH ANOTHER ACFT.

Narrative

I WAS FLYING ON A VFR FLT PLAN UNDER PART 135 FROM HAINES; AK; TO JUNEAU; AK; HDG 120 DEGS. THERE WERE CLR SKIES WITH SMOKE CAUSING A VARIABLE VISIBILITY OF 5-10 SM. ON THE ENRTE CTAF FOR THE AREA; 122.9; I RPTED 'PYRAMID ISLAND 1200 FT JUNEAU;' 'SEDUCTION POINT 3500 FT JUNEAU;' 'KATAGUNI ISLAND 3500 FT JUNEAU;' 'ELDRED ROCK 3500 FT JUNEAU;' AND 'KENSINGTON 3500 FT JUNEAU.' NO RPT WAS GIVEN BY ANY ACFT OF POTENTIAL TFC CONFLICTS AT THAT TIME; IN THAT AREA. AFTER RPTING KENSINGTON; I SWITCHED TO 122.75 AS I CROSSED OVER THE SHORELINE; RPTING KENSINGTON AGAIN. I CONTINUED THE FLT AND LANDED AT JUNEAU APPROX 20 MINS LATER AND CLOSED MY VFR FLT PLAN WITH JUNEAU FSS ON 122.20. AFTER UNLOADING MY ACFT; I WAS APCHED BY 2 FAA INSPECTORS AND TOLD THAT THEY WERE MADE AWARE OF AN NMAC THAT OCCURRED NEAR THE KENSINGTON RPTING POINT. THIS RPT WAS APPARENTLY FILED BY THE OTHER PLT WHO STATED WE MISSED BY '300 FT.' I TOLD THEM THAT I WAS UNAWARE OF SUCH AN OCCURRENCE AND THEY PROCEEDED TO ASK ME ABOUT THE EVENTS I HAVE PREVIOUSLY DOCUMENTED HERE.
