Narrative

INFLT AT CRUISE ALT FL350 GUST LOCK LIGHT CAME ON. NO OTHER INDICATIONS. APPLIED PROCS. CALLED DISPATCH AND MAINT. CONCURRED ON LNDG IN ZZZ. EMER WAS DECLARED AND DIVERTED TO ZZZ. LANDED AT ZZZ WITH NO INCIDENCE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THE GUST LOCK LIGHT ILLUMINATED INDICATING THE CIRCUIT WAS ENERGIZED. THE RPTR SAID AN EMER WAS DECLARED IMMEDIATELY. THE RPTR STATED WHEN ASKED IF ANYTHING ABNORMAL WAS NOTED ABOUT THE ACFT WHEN THE GUST LOCK LIGHT ILLUMINATED; HE SAID 'NONE.' THE RPTR SAID THE FIX IS UNKNOWN AS MAINT HAS NOT RPTED THE FIX TO THE CREW. THE RPTR; WHEN ASKED IF THERE WAS ANY PROB WITH SYSTEMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE GND SHIFT CIRCUIT; ANSWERED 'NONE.' CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR ACN 631898 REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THERE WAS NO INDICATION THE GUST LOCK HAD ANY INTERFERENCE WITH THE ELEVATORS. THE RPTR SAID ONLY THE GUST LOCK LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE RPTR STATED THE ACFT OPERATING MANUAL PROCS FOR GUST LOCK LIGHT REQUIRES EMER AND DIVERSION.
