GND CLRED US TO TAXI FROM RAMP VIA TXWY G; TXWY E; HOLD SHORT OF RWY 3. GND ALSO MENTIONED THAT HOLDING SHORT OF RWY 3 ON TXWY G NOT AUTH; (FOR ACFT WITH WING SPAN MORE THAN 117 FT). DURING TAXI; THE CAPT THEN RAN THE RADIOS WHILE I STARTED ENGS #4 AND #1. GND THEN CLRED US TO TAXI TXWY G; TXWY E; RWY 3 TO RWY 30L; MONITOR TWR FREQ. CAPT REPLIED TO THE CLRNC. WHILE FINISHING ENG STARTS AND REMAINDER OF CHKLIST AND DIVIDING MY ATTN BTWN COCKPIT DUTIES AND TAXI RTE; I HAD A SLIGHT DIFFICULTY IN TRYING TO DISTINGUISH WHERE RWY 3 AND RWY 30L INTERSECTED; TO DETERMINE POS RELATIVE TO RWY 30L. FINALLY PICKED UP VISUAL CUES AND FOUND HOLD SHORT LINE. NOTED CAPT'S TAXI SPD AND TOLD HIM HOLD SHORT LINE WAS COMING UP. IT DIDN'T APPEAR CAPT WAS SLOWING; SO I TOLD HIM AGAIN; 'AGAIN; WE NEED TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 30. AT HOLD SHORT LINE.' CAPT REALIZED HOLD SHORT LINE POS BUT NOSE OF ACFT WENT PAST LINE. ACFT DID NOT ENTER RWY 30L. WE IMMEDIATELY NOTIFIED TWR OF POS. TWR INITIATED A GAR OF A LEARJET ON 3/4 MI FINAL. TWR THEN CLRED US FOR TKOF. POSSIBLE CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: ROUND ABOUT TAXI RTE TO HOLD SHORT LINE TO RWY 30L. DIFFICULTY IN DISTINGUISHING RWY 30L AND RWY 3 INTXN. IT APPEARED TO ME THAT HOLD SHORT LINE WAS POSITIONED FARTHER FROM RWY THAN USUAL HOLD SHORT LINES ON TXWYS RELATIVE TO RWY. THIS ALSO MAY NOT BE THE CASE DUE TO DIVIDING ATTN BTWN TAXI RTE AND COCKPIT DUTIES. NEXT TIME IN SAT WILL MAKE MENTAL NOTE OF HOLD SHORT LINE.
