C206 PLT AND A MIL ACFT HAD A CONFLICT AT AN UNCTLED FIELD.

Narrative

I WAS FLYING A C206 STATIONAIR. I WAS ALONE IN THE ACFT FLYING VFR. BEFORE ENTERING THE TXWY; I CALLED UNICOM TO REQUEST CURRENT CONDITIONS AND RWY INFO. WINDS WERE RPTED AS LIGHT AND VARIABLE WITH RWY 7 BEING USED AS THE ACTIVE RWY. I THEN CALLED TFC TO ADVISE THAT I WAS TAXIING TO THE ACTIVE RWY 7. DURING THE COURSE OF THIS EXCHANGE I HEARD A MIL ACFT RPTING IN AT 10 MI OUT. THE MIL CALL WAS SUBSEQUENT TO MY CALL TO UNICOM FOR RWY AND WX INFO. I TAXIED TO THE RUN-UP AREA FOR RWY 7 AND AFTER COMPLETING MY RUN-UP AND CHKLIST; I CALLED TFC THAT I WAS TAKING THE ACTIVE RWY 7. I CHKED FOR TFC IN THE PATTERN AND ON FINAL; WHICH APPEARED CLR; AND THEN TAXIED ONTO RWY 7. AFTER I WAS ON MY TKOF ROLL I HEARD THE MIL ACFT CALL THAT THEY WERE GOING AROUND. I NEVER HEARD ANY CALL FROM THE MIL ACFT OF ANY DISTANCE OUT; DOWNWIND; BASE OR FINAL LEG RPTS OTHER THAN THE 10 MI RPT AND THAT CALL WAS NOT SPECIFIC AS TO THE TYPE OF ACFT OR ITS SPD. GIVEN THE DISTANCE OUT OF THE INITIAL RPT FROM THE MIL; MY VISUAL CHKS FOR TFC; THE ABSENCE OF ANY RPTING FROM ANY TFC; MY CONTINUOUS RPTING OF MY POS AND INTENTIONS; NO CALL FROM TFC EVEN AFTER I DECLARED MY INTENTION TO TAKE THE ACTIVE RWY 7; I DETERMINED THAT IT WAS SAFE FOR ME TO DEPART. I BELIEVE THE PROB WAS CAUSED BY THE LNDG ACFT NOT CALLING IN POS PRIOR TO LNDG.
