Narrative
I RECENTLY BECAME A CONTRACT PLT ON MY FIRST JOB AS A CONTRACT PLT FOR A COMPANY I AGREED TO FLY FOR AS SIC CONTRACT PLT. ALL ASPECTS OF THE FARS WERE FOLLOWED (PART 91) WITH THE COMPANY CHK AIRMAN EXCEPT ONLY 1 TKOF AND LNDG TO A FULL STOP WAS ACCOMPLISHED. ALL GND; EMER; ABNORMAL; NORMAL PROCS AND ANY OTHER PARTS OF 61.55 WERE ACCOMPLISHED. I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT 3 REQUIRED TKOFS AND LNDGS UNTIL I WAS BACK HOME AND REVIEWED FARS FOR PREPARATION AS A CONTRACT PLT. I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT INTEND TO VIOLATE ANY FARS AND HAVE SIGNED UP WITH COMPUTER TRAINING SYS TO REVIEW ALL FARS; AIM; WINTER OPS; AND ALL THEIR GENERAL SUBJECTS. I HAVE NEVER DONE A PART 91 FLT BEFORE AS I DID IN THE FALCON 10 FOR THIS FLT AND; THEREFORE; WAS NOT FAMILIAR ENOUGH WITH WHAT WAS REQUIRED TO BE LEGAL IN A PART 91 FLT IN AN ACFT GREATER THAN 12500 LBS. I WAS CURRENT IN ALL PARTS REQUIRED BY PART 91. THIS WAS AN INADVERTENT ACTION THAT I WILL NOT REPEAT. I WILL NEVER RELY ONLY ON THE CHK AIRMAN OF ANY COMPANY AGAIN WITHOUT REVIEWING THE FARS AND EVEN GO SO FAR AS TO CALL THE FAA OR A DESIGNATED EXAMINER FOR GUIDANCE. IN FACT; I ALSO PLAN ON HIRING A DESIGNATED EXAMINER TO REVIEW ALL REGS PERTINENT TO A CONTRACT PLT FOR PART 91 AND PART 135.
