AN A300 EXPERIENCED A HYD PWR TKOF UNIT O-RING FAILURE AND SUBSEQUENTLY LOST THE GREEN HYD FLUID. AFTER LNDG; #1 AND #2 MAIN TIRES FAILED AS THE ACFT EXITED THE RWY.

Narrative

IT WAS CAPT'S LEG. DURING CRUISE FLT AT FL330; GOT ECAM WARNING 'LOW GREEN HYD PRESSURE.' VERIFIED BOTH OVERHEAD AND ECAM DISPLAYS; INDICATING GREEN HYD QUANTITY WAS AT RED DOT. ACCOMPLISHED ALL ECAM AND QRH CHKLISTS. SLOWED TO MACH .65/300 KTS AS DIRECTED FOR KRUGERS. ELECTED TO CONTINUE TO ZZZ. SENT ACARS MESSAGE TO GOCC AND MAINT CTLR; COORDINATED TOW-IN AT ZZZ. DECLARED EMER WITH CTR; REQUESTING LONG RWY. DSCNT WAS WITHOUT INCIDENT. DURING PRECAUTIONARY APU START; LOST #1 FLT DIRECTOR. FOLLOWED CHKLISTS AND BOOTSTRAPPED TO #2 FLT DIRECTOR. LNDG GEAR WAS EXTENDED WITH HAND CRANK. APCH WAS STABLE. THERE WAS A R XWIND ON RWY AND RWY WAS DAMP. TOUCHDOWN WAS SMOOTH; ON CTRLINE; AND ALIGNED WITH RWY. SHORTLY AFTER NOSEWHEEL TOUCHDOWN; ACFT BEGAN MOVING TO THE R OF CTRLINE; DESPITE USE OF RUDDERS AND DIFFERENTIAL BRAKING TO MAINTAIN CTRLINE. AS ACFT WAS MOVING TO THE R; I MANEUVERED THE ACFT ONTO THE HIGH SPD TXWY TO THE R AND STOPPED ON THE TXWY. POSTFLT INSPECTION SHOWED #1 AND #2 TIRES WERE BLOWN. FO IS TO BE COMMENDED FOR EXCELLENT SUPPORT AND ACCOMPLISHING ALL CHKLISTS AND PROCS IN AN EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND CAPABLE MANNER.
