Narrative
WE WERE LNDG IN ORD (CAPT'S LEG) AFTER A VERY LONG DAY. WE SAT ON THE GND IN PHL WAITING FOR ORD TO OPEN AFTER THE HVY SNOW STORM PASSED. WE WAITED FOR 3 HRS ON THE GND IN PHL. WHEN WE WERE FINALLY ALLOWED TO GO; OUR FLT ENRTE WAS UNEVENTFUL. ORD APCH GAVE US THE SHORT RWY 9L FOR OUR ARR. THE WIND WAS HOWLING AND WE CALCULATED A SLIGHT TAILWIND. I THINK THE VISIBILITY WAS 1 1/2 BLOWING SNOW. THE CAPT DID A GREAT JOB AND LANDED IN THE LNDG ZONE ON THE APPARENT CTRLINE. LIKE NORMAL (ORD ONLY) THEY WEREN'T MY NUMBER 1 PRIORITY. THE CAPT STOPPED THE AIRPLANE JUST PRIOR TO THE RWY 32R INTXN. TWR CALLED AND TOLD US TO EXIT AT TXWY H2. WE WERE TRYING TO GET THE ACFT STOPPED IN THE CONFINES OF THE RWY AND ANSWER TWR. TWR CAME BACK AND TOLD US NOT TO USE THE RWY EXIT; TO USE TXWY H2. HE WAS FRANTIC AND DURING THE ROLLOUT HE CLRED AN ACFT TO TAKE OFF ON RWY 32R. I BELIEVE IT WAS A B777. WE WERE EXERCISING CAUTION TO STOP THE AIRPLANE BEFORE THE END OF THE RWY KNOWING THE PAINTED AREAS WERE REALLY GOING TO BE SLIPPERY. THE B777 REPLIED; 'THERE IS AN AIRPLANE ENTERING THE RWY (US) AND THEY WERE GOING TO WAIT.'
