Narrative
DURING PREFLT PLANNING FOR TKOF PERFORMANCE NUMBERS; THE PIC AND I CHKED THE NUMBERS FOR RWY LENGTH VERSUS TKOF DISTANCE REQUIRED IN THE AIRPLANE MANUAL AND THE ONBOARD COMPUTER AND CORRECTED FOR COMPACTED SNOW; AS WAS THE CONDITION OF RWY 6 AT TEB. THE TKOF DISTANCE AT ABOUT XA00 EXCEEDED THE RWY LENGTH WHEN THE ACFT FLT MANUAL COMPACTED SNOW CORRECTION WAS APPLIED. WE DISCUSSED THIS WITH THE COMPANY PROGRAM MGR AND HE STATED OUR NUMBERS WERE INCORRECT; WE NEEDED TO USE THE BACK PAGE OF THE CHART TO CORRECT FOR COMPACTED SNOW WHILE ALSO TOOK REVERSE THRUST INTO AFFECT. WE ARGUED THAT THIS WAS NOT CORRECT; WE WERE THREATENED WITH A TRIP THE NEXT DAY TO ZZZ FOR A REPRIMAND AND PERFORMANCE RE-TRAINING IF WE DID NOT USE THE CORRECTION CHART IN THE MANUAL FOR COMPACT SNOW WITH REVERSE THRUST. WE USED THESE NUMBERS SOME 5 HRS LATER WHEN OUR PAX SHOWED LATE. AT THAT TIME THE HEADWIND COMPONENT HAD CHANGED TO A GREATER NUMBER; SO I FEEL WE WERE LEGAL FOR TKOF BY THEN. NOT USING THE CORRECTION CHART FOR COMPACTED SNOW WITH THRUST REVERSE (WHICH THIS CHART IS PROHIBITED BY OUR FOM/OPS MANUAL) WHICH WE DISCOVERED LATER WAS THE TRUE CASE. WE ALSO TOOK 1 LESS PAX THAN ORIGINALLY PLANNED.
