Narrative
I WAS ON FLT FOLLOWING VFR FROM TROUTDALE; OR; TO ROBERTS FIELD IN REDMOND; OR. WHEN I GOT TO TERREBONNE; FLT FOLLOWING WAS TERMINATED AND I SQUAWKED 1200. THEN I CALLED REDMOND TWR AND INFORMED THEM THAT I WAS OVER TERREBONNE INBOUND FOR FULL STOP AT REDMOND. THEY CALLED BACK AND TOLD ME TO 'ENTER L BASE FOR RWY 10; RPT 3 MI.' AS I WAS COMING UP ON 3 MI FOR L BASE RWY 10; THE TWR CALLED ME AND FRANTICALLY ASKED FOR MY POS. WHILE THE TWR'S MIKE WAS STILL KEYED; AN ACR JET OVERTOOK ME AND PASSED IN FRONT OF ME; BARELY MISSING ME. I NOTED THAT THE ACFT WAS DSNDING SHARPLY IN A L TURN. THE ACR JET HAD COME FROM MY 4-5 O'CLOCK POS ABOVE ME. AFTER THE ACR JET PASSED ME; I CALLED THE TWR BACK AND INFORMED THEM THAT I WAS NOW COMING UP ON 3 MI L BASE FOR RWY 10 AND THAT AN ACR JET HAD ALMOST HIT ME; AND THAT THERE WAS NO TIME FOR ME TO EXECUTE ANY COLLISION AVOIDANCE MANEUVERS WHILE THE JET WAS PASSING ME. WHEN THE CTLR CALLED BACK HE SOUNDED SHAKY AND TOLD ME TO TURN 90 DEGS TO THE R AND EXTEND MY DOWNWIND LEG AND THAT HE WOULD CALL MY L BASE. I RESPONDED AND MANEUVERED ACCORDINGLY. HE CALLED MY L BASE AND CLRED ME TO LAND #1. AS I WAS ROLLING OUT; HE INSTRUCTED ME TO EXIT AT THE NEXT INTXN AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE ANOTHER ACFT WAS LNDG RIGHT BEHIND ME. AS I EXITED THE RWY; I WATCHED A CESSNA LAND JUST AS I WAS CLRING THE RWY. THAT WAS TOO CLOSE FOR MY COMFORT. THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FROM THE TWR OR ANY OTHER ACFT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE NMAC I HAD EXPERIENCED WITH THE ACR JET.
