AN EMJ CREW WITH FAILURES OF XPONDER; COM #1; TCASII; AND INTERMITTENT RADAR DECLARED AN EMER IN SEVERE WX AND LANDED AT THEIR ALTERNATE ARPT.

Narrative

ON APCH CTL TO ZZZ1; WE LOST COM #1 AND XPONDERS #1 AND #2 AND TCASII. SHORTLY THEREAFTER; THE WX (AS A RESTR CAPT) WENT BELOW MY HIGH MINIMUMS LNDG RVR. CONSIDERING THE EQUIP LOSS; WX GOING BELOW MY MINIMUMS; FUEL STATUS AND EQUIP FAILURE; I ELECTED TO DIVERT TO ZZZ2 WHICH WAS MY SECOND ALTERNATE. ON THE WAY TO ZZZ2 IN DSCNT; WE LOST ADC #1 AND WHILE ENCOUNTERING CONSTANT MODERATE TURB; THE RADAR STARTED TO FAIL INTERMITTENTLY. TSTMS WERE MOVING INTO THE AREA AND MANY ACFT WERE STARTING TO HOLD. CONSIDERING THE DEGRADING WX AND CONTINUING FAILURES OF OUR ACFT; I ELECTED TO DECLARE AN EMER GO GET PRIORITY HANDLING TO ZZZ2. WE THEN LOST THE AUTOPLT ON VECTORS TO APCH. THE TURB CONTINUED TO GET WORSE AND WE ENCOUNTERED SEVERE TURB WHILE DSNDING TO ZZZ2. WHILE DSNDING AT 180 KTS AND FLAPS 22 DEGS; A SEVERE TURB ENCOUNTER CAUSED US TO EXCEED FLAPS 22 DEGS SPD CAUSING US TO GO FROM 180 KTS TO 210 KTS FOR A SHORT DURATION. AFTER CONSIDERING OUR LOW FUEL STATUS; APCHING WX AND THE FACT THAT ACR Y LANDED BEFORE US; I DECIDED THAT THE SAFEST COURSE OF ACTION WAS TO CONTINUE THE APCH. WE ENCOUNTERED WINDSHEAR ON LNDG AND MADE A SOFT TOUCHDOWN BUT THE STRONG XWIND MADE US ENCOUNTER DIRECTIONAL CTL ON LNDG. I MAINTAINED CTL OF THE ACFT AND BROUGHT THE ACFT TO A SAFE STOP WITH NO KNOWN OR VISIBLE DAMAGE TO THE ACFT. I FOLLOWED UP AFTER ARR AT THE GATE WITH THE CHIEF PLT; MOC; AND DISPATCH WITH A VERBAL DEBRIEF OF THE FLT.
