A HAWKER 700 FO RPTS HIS FATIGUED; AGING CAPT INCURRED ON A RWY WHILE EXPEDITING FOR TKOF WITHOUT THE FO'S INPUT.

Narrative

OUR PAX WERE LATE AND I WAS THE PNF THIS LEG. THE PF CAME IN FROM THE RAMP WHERE HE WAS WAITING WITH THE APU RUNNING. HE WAS ANXIOUS TO LEAVE; IT WAS GOING TO BE THE END OF A 4 DAY TRIP. I THINK HE WAS TIRED; AND HE IS XX YRS OLD. HE WENT BACK TO THE ACFT AFTER SOME REMARKS ABOUT THE PAX BEING LATE. I WALKED THE PAX TO THE ACFT AND BEFORE I GOT THEM IN THE PLANE; HE HAD STARTED THE #2 ENG. BY THE TIME I GOT STRAPPED IN; THE PF HAD BOTH ENGS RUNNING AND HAD CALLED GND CTL FOR OUR TAXI CLRNC (NOT OUR NORMAL SOP). HE SAID HE WAS TAXIING OUT ON THE PARALLEL AND HOLDING SHORT OF TXWY S FOR RWY 12L; 'I KNOW WHERE WE'RE GOING.' I PROCEEDED TO GO THROUGH THE CHKLIST AND ABOUT 2 MINS LATER; GND CTL SAID 'NXXX STOP! YOU MISSED TXWY S AND ARE ON ANOTHER RWY; CONTACT TWR 118.2.' NEEDLESS TO SAY; THIS WAS VERY UPSETTING AND DANGEROUS. I SHOULD HAVE STOPPED THE PF BEFORE WE LEFT THE RAMP BECAUSE OF THE DEV FROM THE SOP. I KNOW BETTER THAN TO LET 'GET HOMEITIS' GET IN THE WAY OF CTLING THE ACFT. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: PF AGE; GETS TIRED AFTER LONG DAYS; GETS IN A HURRY. I WILL TALK TO OUR CHIEF PLT ABOUT RESOLVING THIS ISSUE.
