A B737-300 CREW RPTED A RWY 32 HOLD SHORT LINE ON TXWY D BTWN TXWY U AND THE RWY THAT WAS NOT DEPICTED ON THE COMMERCIAL OR GOV PUBLISHED ARPT DIAGRAM.

Narrative

WE WERE CLRED TO TAXI TO THE ACTIVE; RWY 32 AT BUF. WHILE ON THE PARALLEL TXWY APPROX 2000 FT FROM THE DEP END; WE INITIATED THE BEFORE TKOF CHKLIST. AFTER BEGINNING THE BEFORE TKOF CHKLIST; I NOTICED WHAT APPEARED TO BE AN ILS HOLD SHORT LINE IMMEDIATELY IN FRONT OF THE ACFT. AT ABOUT THIS TIME TWR CLRED US FOR TKOF ON RWY 32. I AM NOT SURE IF ANY OF THE ACFT MAY HAVE CROSSED THE HOLD SHORT LINE PRIOR TO THE TKOF CLRNC BEING RECEIVED. AS WE TURNED ONTO THE RWY WE DIDN'T NOTICE XING ANY ADDITIONAL HOLD SHORT LINES AS WOULD BE EXPECTED. THIS LED ME TO BELIEVE WHAT WE THOUGHT HAD BEEN THE ILS HOLD SHORT LINE MAY HAVE BEEN THE ACTUAL RWY 32 HOLD SHORT LINE. I HAD; PRIOR TO PUSHBACK; REVIEWED BOTH THE 10-7 AND 10-9 PAGES AND SAW NOTHING EITHER GRAPHICALLY OR VERBALLY DISPLAYED WHICH INDICATED A HIGHLY UNUSUALLY LOCATED HOLD SHORT LINE FOR RWY 32. SOLUTION: 1) PLEASE MODIFY THE 10-7 AND 10-9 PAGES FOR BUF TO MENTION AND DEPICT THIS UNUSUALLY LOCATED HOLD SHORT LINE. 2) ALWAYS MAINTAIN HYPER VIGILANCE AT NIGHT WHILE TAXING DUE TO REDUCED VISIBILITY AND OFTEN POOR LIGHTING. 3) WHEN IN DOUBT STOP AND CONFIRM THAT WHAT YOU THINK YOU SEE IS REALLY WHAT YOU DO SEE.
