C177 DEP FROM SEE EXPERIENCED NMAC WITH GAR ACFT ON SAME RWY.

Narrative

THE RUNUP AREA FOR RWY 27R DIRECTS AIRPLANES; VIA THE YELLOW LINES ON THE TARMAC; TO PARK AT ROUGHLY 45 DEGS TO RWY 27R. I WAS PARKED AT THE NEAREST OF THE 5 RUNUP SPOTS; IE; THE ONE THAT WAS CLOSEST TO THE RWY. I CONTACTED SEE TWR AND I WAS CLRED TO POS AND HOLD RWY 27R. BECAUSE OF MY ANGLE TO THE RWY; I WAS UNABLE TO SEE THE FINAL APCH PATH AS I ENTERED THE RWY. I WAS STILL ROLLING TOWARD THE CTRLINE OF RWY 27R WHEN ATC CLRED ME FOR TKOF. ON MY TKOF ROLL; I HEARD THE CTLR CONTACT ANOTHER CESSNA WITH INSTRUCTIONS TO GO AROUND. THE OTHER CESSNA DID NOT RESPOND OVER THE RADIO. AS I ROTATED AND BECAME AIRBORNE; I SAW THE OTHER CESSNA OVERHEAD IN A LNDG CONFIGN. ATC RADIOED THE OTHER AIRPLANE; INSTRUCTED IT TO TURN R IMMEDIATELY; AND IT DID. THE ATC CTLR ASKED ME IF I HAD HEARD THEIR INSTRUCTION TO ME TO ABORT MY TKOF. I DID NOT; NOR DID MY PAX. WHEN I SAW THE OTHER AIRPLANE; BY THE WAY; I STOPPED MY CLB. THE PLT OF THE OTHER CESSNA ALSO; APPARENTLY; DID NOT HEAR THE ABORT INSTRUCTION BECAUSE HE ASKED ATC WHY I HAD BEEN CLRED TO TAKE OFF.
