Narrative
DURING TAXI FROM THE RAMP; WE WERE GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS TO EXIT OUR RAMP; CROSS RWY 4/22 AND MAKE A L TURN FROM TXWY C3 TO TXWY C; CONTINUING TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 12R. UNBEKNOWNST TO US AT THAT TIME; NO OTHER ACFT HAD USED TXWY C FOR THE PAST 20-30 MINS AND IT HAD BEEN SNOWING QUITE SIGNIFICANTLY FOR THE ENTIRE TIME; THUS ACCUMULATING SNOW ON THE TXWYS. AS WE BEGAN OUR L TURN ONTO TXWY C; ALTHOUGH WE WERE QUITE SLOW (INS INDICATED 3 KTS GND SPD); THE ACFT BEGAN TO SLIDE TOWARDS THE OUTSIDE OF THE TURN. I ATTEMPTED TO STOP THE ACFT; BUT TO NO AVAIL BEFORE HITTING A BLUE TXWY LIGHT. OUR MAINT PERSONNEL CAME OUT; INSPECTED THE ACFT AND TOWED US BACK TO OUR RAMP. WE WERE THEN DE-/ANTI-ICED ONCE AGAIN AND DEPARTED USING TXWY D; WHICH RUNS PARALLEL TO TXWY C AND HAD BEEN HEAVILY TRAVELED ALL EVENING. THE TAXI/DEP WAS UNEVENTFUL FROM THIS POINT. WE NEVER DEPARTED THE PAVED SURFACE. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 682333: TAXI SPD WAS LESS THAN 3 KTS AND TXWY WAS COVERED WITH LESS THAN 1 INCH OF SNOW. ACFT SLID IN THE TURN DUE TO SNOW. R OUTBOARD TIRE TOOK OUT ELEVATED TAXI LIGHT.
