AN MD80 WAS RELEASED FROM MAINT AND DISPATCHED WITH ALL DOOR WARNING LIGHTS DISABLED. ENGINEERING AUTH WAS WORKED AND INCORRECT CIRCUIT BREAKERS WERE OPENED AND COLLARED.

Narrative
I WAS ASSIGNED TO FERRY AN MD80. WE ARRIVED AT THE ACFT AND HAD AN MEL FOR THE FORWARD AIRSTAIR. WE WROTE UP 2 ADDITIONAL ITEMS. MAINT PERSONNEL WERE SITTING IN MY SEAT XFERRING FUEL FROM THE CTR TANK; AFTER THE PLANE HAD BEEN TOWED. I STAYED IN THE CABIN UNTIL HE LEFT THE FLT DECK. THE FLT ATTENDANTS WERE ON BOARD; AND THE AGENT WAS READY TO CLOSE THE L-1 DOOR. I THEN TOOK MY SEAT AND ACCOMPLISHED THE FLT DECK SET-UP AND CALLED FOR THE BEFORE START CHKLIST. ALL ANNUNCIATOR LIGHTS WERE NORMAL (DOOR OPEN LIGHTS WERE OUT). FLT WAS UNEVENTFUL. ON THE GND WHILE DOING MY FLOWS PRIOR TO DEP WE NOTED THE L-1 DOOR LIGHT WAS NOT ILLUMINATED WHEN WE KNEW THE DOOR WAS OPEN. I CALLED MAINT CTL TO TALK ABOUT THE SITUATION AND THEY DISCOVERED THAT TOO MANY CIRCUIT BREAKERS HAD BEEN PULLED AND COLLARED; THUS DISABLING ALL DOOR WARNING LIGHTS. THE MEL STATED THE 8 CIRCUIT BREAKERS WERE PULLED AND THE PROPER NUMBER HAD BEEN VERIFIED PRIOR TO DEP. MAINT SPOKE WITH MAINT CTL AND IT WAS DECIDED TO RESET 2 CIRCUIT BREAKERS (R-24 AND 0B3). AFTER THIS; WE HAD NORMAL INDICATIONS OF DOOR POS. LOGBOOK CORRECTIVE ACTION VERBIAGE ENDED STATING 'NO OTHER SYS AFFECTED.'
