CITATION CE525A PLT HAS AN ALTDEV DURING CLB.
Narrative
I WAS ON A 090 DEG HDG; WITHIN THE DALLAS AREA AT I BELIEVE AN ALT OF 8000 FT. WAS INSTRUCTED TO INCREASE SPD TO 280 KTS AND TURN TO A HDG OF 360 DEGS AND CLB TO 9000 FT I REQUESTED DIRECTION OF TURN R OR L. THE CTLR IN AN INDIGNANT VOICE SAID L. I INFORMED THE CTLR THAT I WAS UNABLE THE SPD OF 280 KTS. THE BEST I COULD DO WAS 260 KTS. I MOMENTARILY OVERSPED THE ACFT. I WAS THEN ASKED TO CLB TO 10000 FT AND TURN HDG 280 DEGS L. I STARTED THE TURN AND STARTED TO DIAL IN THE ALT AND CLB. THE CTLR CAME BACK AND TOLD ME THAT IT TOOK ME TOO LONG TO CLB SO STAY AT 9000 FT. THE AIRPLANE HAD STARTED THE CLB AT THE TIME HE REQUESTED. I WAS AT 9100 FT AT THE AIRSPD HE REQUESTED. THE CLB RATE WAS VERY HIGH BY THE TIME I KICKED THE AUTOPLT OFF; I WAS ALREADY APCHING 9800 FT AT WHICH TIME I STARTED TO GET THE ACFT TO DSND. I WAS THEN GIVEN A HDG OF 330 DEGS; THEN 240 DEGS THEN 320 DEGS THEN 330 DEGS THEN 360 DEGS. THE CTLR WAS VERY BUSY NONSTOP COMMANDS. I RECEIVED APPROX 14 DIRECTIONAL CHANGES IN A PERIOD OF LESS THAN APPROX 9 MINS. FLYING SINGLE PLT.
