HF USELESS THAT FAR INLAND IN SOUTH AMERICA WITH NO RESPONSE FROM PUBLISHED FREQS DESPITE GETTING 'LDOC' SELCAL CHK OK NEAR THE COAST OF SAO PAULO BEFORE STARTING FLT WELL INLAND. ACARS DROPPING OFFLINE WITH VHF ONLY AVAILABLE FOR IT TO OPERATE. NOTIFIED DISPATCH; SEVERAL COM TRIES TO DISPATCH FAIL ON SATCOM. 'LDOC' USELESS INLAND. ALL COM FREQS TRIED. XPONDER 7600 AND 121.5 USED TWICE; NO RESPONSE 121.5. SECOND TIME 123.45 OK MANY MI LATER OF NO COM WITH RELAY FROM ANOTHER ACR FREQS TO CALL EQUAL NO RESPONSE.
